I had my two old water heaters replaced before the new regulations kicked in and I asked them to replace the drain valves on the new units with ball valves so that they would never clog with sediment. The installation of the water heaters went well and was a lot of work, but I guess I didn't make myself clear regarding the drain valves. Instead of replacing the ones that came with the units, they just added the ball valves, defeating the purpose of having them. It was too late by the time I noticed this, but I figured I could live with it until I do a big flush and replace them myself (I did that on the old ones - it's not rocket science). Today when I went to do the first mini-drain, the connections between the drain valve and the ball valve on both units sprayed hot water all over. I had to place a bucket under the valves and a rag over them to control the spray. Not good.

I'm a software developer, not a plumber, and when I replaced the drain valves on my old water heaters there were no leaks. While I'm pleased with the installation of the units, I consider the installation of the drain ball valves to be sloppy and even dangerous.

Everyone I called was completely booked for weeks, Tony came out within 30 minutes of me calling him. I had a 45 degree plastic pipe under the ground in my front yard break and my front yard was completely soaked. He came out assessed the problem and had his son come out and fix it for me within an hour it was fixed, and for a very reasonable price. I will always recommend these guys! Awesome work, great price who could ask for more?

Unfortunately my review is not a positive one. I called Tony this morning after being referred to him by another plumber. He was supposed to show up between 11 and 1 but did not. I had to call him to find out why he never showed up. He said he was so busy he had lost track of time. He arrived at 2pm with equipment that did not work. (Electric snake, for which he apparently has to order a part.) So now, on a Friday afternoon, we have to find someone else. Guess we'll be making more than One Call. He did not charge us, which I appreciate, but we will not be calling him again.

These guys were a referral from Blue Diamond but they are my go-guys from now on. Many plumbers can fix a toilet or a leaky faucet but One-Call repaired our main water line leak quickly. I admit that I spent 2 days in the cold rain digging & finding the leak but it was in a position that I couldn't fix. One-Call showed up within an hour of my call and an hour later the leak was repaired. They didn't just put a Band-Aid on the problem, they reworked my attempt at a repair and did it right. Needless to say the family is happy to have the water back on! Fast, no-nonsense, very courteous and wallet friendly. They even filled in the hole I dug & you can barely tell that there was ever an issue. Nice to find a full-service plumber you can depend on! Great job.

Tony was great! He was here within an hour when others said they could be here in 2 days. He fixed my dead hot water heater quickly & cleanly. He was respectful, friendly, and also pointed out another safety concern that was not up to code.

I should always scroll a few pages in, through the vendor list, to pick someone with a great rating. The first ones listed just pay extra to be seen first...which means they are already booked. If you need help quickly, skip those and try someone else further down the list. They often have great service too...just not the "large company" pockets to afford paying to be listed first.

I called them for a competitive quote on a major repair job (cracked sewer line). They responded quicker than anyone else, and had the best quoted price by far. When I gave the go-ahead, they were able to get the job started the next day, which is super fast for a major repair. After digging the hole and inspecting the crack, they identified the location to be city/MUD responsibility. I had tried for a year to get the MUD to accept responsibility. Tony and Jonathan did a great job of writing a very detailed analysis of the problem, and the MUD finally accepted responsibility. Tony only charged me for the work they did (way less than the quoted price) and saved me lots of money and time with his documented analysis. Quick, honest, and fair. I will definitely call them again.

My tenant in Austin had a leak in the condo. Being that I live out-of-state, I relied on Yellowpages and Yelp to find several plumbers to call for a quote. Tony and Jonathan were responsive and prompt. They were able to drop over at the unit to look at the situation right away. Despite their busy schedules, they still make me feel like I was a priority in getting the work done. I highly recommend them for their efficiency and responsiveness. Tony was referred to me by Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing. I Called Gilbert on a Sunday afternnon. He was booked for the week, so he gave me Tony's number. I called Tony Sunday afternoon. He answered right away and I told him I suspected I had a leaking water main. He asked if it was gushing and if I knew how to turn off the water. I did, so he told me he would be out first thing Monday morning. Tony called me around 8A on Monday and told me he was on his way. He arrived at 8:30A, assessed the situation, confirmed my fears, gave me a price, set to work and completed the job by 1P. He even fixed a broken irrigation line that he found when he dug up the water main. I highly recommend Tony and will be calling him again.
