One Call truly lives up to there name. I called & left a message. I received a call from John, the owner. I explained the the A/C unit was under warranty. He said that he would take care of it. My other A/C man would not deal w/ the warranty co. So when John told me that he handled this manufacturer's unit & would work with the Warranty co., he gained a new customer. They took care of everything, they did the diagnosis, got the part & installed it just in time for Thanksgiving. What a great job! Thanks John & all your team @ One Call. If ever you need heating or A/C, one call in Slidell will take care of it! Thanks, John!

John and his team redid our entire existing AC system in our home a few years ago. Since then, we have had our unit maintained by John, and I have to say, having worked for a big company that does work of this kind, it is very rare to work directly with someone who completely understands how things work inside and out. Any time an issue has come up (we had a power surge fry some elements of our unit), John has been able to find the cause and fix the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

BEWARE. Go elsewhere or get it in writing. We called John replace a well pump. Our pump was working but not properly. The job took an hour but he charged us for 2 people for 2 hours. LIE!!!!! And it certainly doesn't take two people to replace a well pump to start with. He didn't know what he was doing as he didn't plumb in a fitting to prime the pump. He also didn't have tools he needed when he showed up. In the end he ending up charging us nearly double for the cost of the pump, crazy inflated prices for PVC misc items, 45% for overhead, and 20% for Profit. $1500 for an hours work and a $350 well pump. This company is dishonest and will rape an unsuspecting customer. In the end the pump didn't have good pressure and we will have to get it redone. We tried to negotiate the bill to a reasonable amount and John is unwilling to be reasonable. He also took our old pump that was running..... we had to call and demand he bring it back since it was not his property.

Came to repair stopped up toilet! Wasn't stopped up. Mane line to building was plugged. Technition was here 15 minutes. Complex came and fixed problems and tech put on bill he repaired it. Sent me a bill for 200 dollars. I called the office to explain he didn't do what he said and she basically said go f@#k myself and didn't offer to reduce my bill. Didn't pay bill so they sent it to collections . Now it's on my credit report. Don't use this piece of s##t company.

Initially I was impressed that John came to our rescue on Mardi Gras weekend but when the temporary fix burst at 0530 on Sunday morning I should have cut my losses then. It took more than 3 weeks for our shower to be able to be used again. Now here I am 7+ months later just discovering that the shower drain that was leaking and lead to our original problem has continued to leak all these months. When I called John, he didn't seem to care. So I have a new plumber and spending more $$$ for a poor job.

Terrible company!
The air conditioning employee/owner that comes out to your house...his name is JOHN he is very fresh. I had a quote from another reputable company to fix my ac and of course John had to beat it only to screw us over. my AC unit is in the backyard and there is a door from my bedroom to the yard so he decided after having me wait a week for his services that he would come to fix my ac unit at 8pm so he knocks on the front door and i allow him in my house he looks at the ac monitor and then walks outside through the front door then about 45 minutes later he decides to just make himself at home by opening the door to my bedroom from the yard and walking right into my bedroom. After that day he needed to come back for something un-announced. He never called me to let me know he would be back let alone what time he would be coming. he rang the door bell twice i couldn't answer the door because i was working as i work from home. He decides to peek through my bedroom window and knock on the window, my daughter came running to me afraid because a man was looking through the window. When i went outside there he was walking into my yard without permission so i said ""I'm sorry John i was working, but do you do this with all your customers...peek through their bedroom windows walk into their yards without permission"", come un-announced....? he apologized and continued working and left. My AC unit worked for maybe 2 weeks after the 2 weeks we have tried numerous times to contact him at his private cell phone number 9859600214 and i tried calling the number on his site and business card 985-649-5548 numerous times only to get his voice mail. I tried calling from my house phone, my husbands cell phone and my cell phone only because it feels like he is avoiding me. Then i get a call from the landlord stating he told her he has been to my house twice...(of which clearly again he is going in my yard without permission) and is stating that the ac unit is working just fine. and that i should keep my ac at 75 in order for it to work properly. So apparently i cant lower the ac to a temperature of my liking because Mr. John the AC guy says i cant go below 75... it is currently 80 degrees outside and i have taken pictures of my ac monitor which shows the ac is set at 65 and the temp in the house is 78 please tell me how keeping it at 75 would outdo the temperatures from the real world outside.
