On Time Experts
Company Overview
Air Conditioning & Heating Repair, Plumbing Service, Pipe Unclogging, Foundation Problems, Clean Water, Vent Service, Attic Protection.
In 1965, Bob Dolton initiated this company. In 1981, Bob sold the company to a team involved with Unique Indoor Comfort. Unique carried on to grow by purchasing Hamilton Air Mart in 1986. Hamilton continued a independent business until 1998, when it merged with the other business. In 2003, the business chose to become part of a franchise network and changed its name.
The firm was purchased by Randy Kelley in March 2012. In March 2013, Randy purchased the assets of Avery Air, a firm operating since 1957, from insolvency. In October 2013, he acquired SA Specialties of Dallas.
In January 2014, the 10-year agreement with the franchise network expired, and the firm chose to go in a fresh path. That's when On Time Experts was established. This also enables the firm to provide additional home offerings in the long run.
The fundamental values of the business are unchanged...100% Consumer Contentment, No Matter What It Takes! In 1986, Randy started with the business, Bob Dolton/Unique Indoor Comfort, as a parts runner and supported in the administration. He quickly moved to a service technician and executed installations.
In 1988, Randy was appointed the Service Manager. In this position, he managed phone calls, organized service calls, allocated technicians, ordered parts and equipment, maintained inventory, processed daily paperwork, and updated Service Agreements.
Randy was promoted to President/General Manager in 1995. In this role, he directed daily operations, growing the business from 10 employees to 30 when he took over the business.
The business was purchased by Randy Kelley in March 2012. Randy increased the business by over 52% each year in 2012 and 2013, now boasting more than 80 team members.
Randy strongly believes in 100% Consumer Fulfillment, Whatever It Takes!

Great company All around! from their dispatchers to their technicians. You can tell the owner really cares!

So disappointed I had such high hopes from advertisements as someone we could trust and that supported the war fighter. We had a maintenance appointment on the 18th. AC was working was being cautious now when we try to use it it does not work. We are told now they need $89 to evaluate. We spent several hundred dollars 8 days ago you think they would have good enough customer service to apply what they just did a week ago. Don't trust Randy's advertisements they are lies.
Randy if you follow your advertisements at all call me. Another AC company came out and my AC is working fine. Your tune up Is a complete sham. I will be disputing charge

Aggressive Sales.
Signed up for the twice a year maintenance, only to experience a ton of strong recommendations things that need fixing. I asked for a quote, and when I checked around, they were indeed quite high, despite the discount they touted. Now a year later, with no issues on the things I did not repair, they still constantly call and try to set up another "maintenance" visit. It seems like that is their sales tactic, to push the cheap maintenance visit, then aggressively upsell on the visit. Make e very suspicious of the true need of the repair. I am absolutely sure they will suggest many overpriced items.

Never never use this service. As soon as you see ontime experts, refuse the service. I was asked to replace an ac capacitor that cost $8.25 for $361.00 and very firm on a price. It is a RIP off.

Ok so I really liked this place at first. We joined there front of the line family and got free AC check ups twice a year. First time they came out they found over $1000 worth of possible problems. Now our unit is only (5 year old ). So we decided to go head a fix what they said. Then next year we had them put in a UV light and was told we could get a Air Ranger air filter system half price. This was in April of this year. Now 4 month later I am charge another $641.50 that they say was the half price cost of this unit. Well I checked with 3 other company's. The avg cost of this unit is 600-680. So we didn't get anything half off. I was told they charge $1200 for the air ranger. So they upcharge then give you half off. Needless to say, I am no longer a member of there family service. I will no longer be recommending this company. Ohhh and for there we are on time or it's free BS. They tell you we will be there tomorrow and we will call you when we are a hour away. So they are and can never be late.

Let me preface by saying that the personnel, whether technicians or schedulers, are terrific. My problem is that is that I was scheduled for 1:00 PM for a summer tune up and it's now 3:00. The technician is 30-45 minutes away, which means the job won't be completed until at least 4:30. This is actually a reschedule for the time that I sat here for more than 2 hours and no one showed up.
I'm paying a monthly fee to be at the front of the line and not have to wait 3 hours. Additionally, why is there not a technician assigned to an area closer to where I am? On Time is becoming a misnomer in my book!

Awful company!! do not use these charlatans. They are price gougers that prey on your need for repair during the hot summer. Paid $941 for 2 parts that cost $70 to be placed on AC unit. Called and the Service Manager Andreas said that is what they charge. No explanation why just that's the rate and too bad. If I could give zero stars I would. Awful company!

What a waste! Contacted them to see if they could do a service call on my unit. Wasted 15mins giving information via the chat. Just to get a call back 2hrs later saying that since your 2.5 miles out of our area we can't help you... I understand you have to have an cutoff, but seriously 2.5 miles? Worst part was is that I was told via the chat the out of area wouldn't be an issue, but if it was I'd be give a referral. Nope, I got a phone call with we can't help you, try the Better Business Bureau.
I was so happy with the initial customer service but this experience has completely turned me off!

This company is located near my home in a neighborhood in East Dallas. Their orange trucks use our residential street as a race track to get to customers on time, apparently. Aggressive and Fast driving in a family neighborhood around children and school kids is despicable, yet they do it every day, all day. If a company treats their neighbors with this sort of disregard, I can't imagine how they treat their customers.

Females Beware! This company will try to take advantage of you if you call for service and are the only one in the house at the time they show up. Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked and appointment for a rejuvenation and this is what is is supposed to include per the website:
How we go beyond a cheap tune-up or inspection (the nitty to remove the gritty):
We professionally clean all the baked-on plaque from the outdoor coil in your system, so it'll use less energy and cool more quickly.
We install a Crud Buster in your condensate pan to eliminate odors and stops drain line clogs before they happen.
We lubricate all moving parts and install a new air filter.
We conduct a 47-point diagnostic including checking Freon levels and all operating temperature.
We install a new battery in your thermostat.
THEN we recalibrate your entire system back to factory fresh specifications.
If we find any component that is broken or worn out we'll show you, and you can decide if you'd like us to fix it.
My rejuvenation consisted of the tech washing my unit off with my garden hose and telling me that the capacitor was bad. Why did I pay over $100 when I could have washed it off myself with a garden hose, and have? They also would not honor the warranty on the capacitor seeing as my unit is only 4 years old. They kept looking it up as a "Payne" when it is a "Grandaire". Now they want to send someone else out to do the job they should have done in the first place, which is an inconvenience as I work and had to make arrangements for the visit yesterday. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company. I will be asking for my money back and calling another company that will actually do the promised work.
