We are very happy with Jamie and his crew. After having another company "repair" our leak and ghosting us when it wasn't repaired we called On the Spot. Jamie was very responsive and easy to work with. Our pool looks good and we are finally able to swim in it. I would highly recommend On the Spot!

They came out and did an excellent, less expensive and quick fix on my spa leaks. Another company that tried to fix it with 4 attempts actually called On The Spot to come and fix it. One time and fixed.

This company was just terrific! I called to ask for help saying our pool must have a leak it's losing almost 2 inches of water a day. They said they would try to get someone out as soon as possible. Within 48 hours a young man named Trenton showed up at our house and he found the leaks in less than 30 minutes. They were in our skimmers and he put epoxy on them and stop the leaks. We appreciated how they didn't try to do more than was necessary to just make a profit. He was very honest. It was a simple fix and the price was very reasonable. this company is like a breath of fresh air. Good customer service and honest which you don't see much of today. Thank you Trenton and Jamie for a job well done.

I wish I could give Jamie and this company zero stars. He re-plastered our pool in Jan of 2020. Fast forward 15 months and large spots started appearing in our pool. Our pool service owner said it was from a bad plaster job. I contacted Jamie and he gave me the run around for a month And told me I was out of my 12 month warranty. How convenient. He is a very dishonest individual and does crappy work at best.

We've had Jamie and his team out to our house several times to fix various issues on our old pool (including a major leak that another company couldn't diagnose), & they've ALWAYS been super-responsive, ethical, & conscientious! They do very careful work, including great clean-up of a decking area they had to break up, then re-pour. We've had several emergencies as well, including the current Feb. 2021 DEEP-FREEZE - Jamie made a house-call to quickly winterize the pool and prevent any further freeze damage to the mechanicals, and for this we are extremely grateful!! These guys will definitely be our go-to pool guys from now on!

$375 for a grout line repair. 1 year warranty.
4 month later there repair started leaking again so they came back after I called and had to nag them to come out and check their work for leaks. When they finely came out, they did a dye leak check and found a leak in the grout.. They did a patch on the grout so they said although I was at work at the time and my wife was a bit concerned because she said the guy was only there for 20 minutes. After I cam home I did a bucket test and It is still leaking. They tried to convince me it was a structural leak and wanted to dive it for another lump of cash. I know it was the grout line because I painted Marlig Fix A leak over the entire grout line and it stopped the leak for a week. the water was not dropping other then evaporation. They said they would call me and set up a time to come out and dive it but I do not want that done and they don't believe it is a grout line leak. They never called me back to set up the appointment for they dive. The original repair was in October of 2019 and it is still leaking today. I would not recommend On the spot for grout repair. They don't seem to know what they are doing in that area of expertise. I have posted pictures of a 24 hour bucket test before and after inside and outside the bucket. It is obvious that the water dropped more on the outside then the inside.

Was originally quoted $400 to fix the water feature leak....once he was in there said it would cost another $400. Paid $800 and the waterfall feature still leaks would not reimburse or repair it unless I paid more. I was originally quoted less to have the pool replastered and leaks fixed...but after he left and I got the email for the estimate it was $700 more than he quoted me and said I misunderstood him. I wish I used a different company.

Called on Feb 1, called back on February 2 twice. Each time I left a message with my name and contact details. I have yet to receive any response from them. If I ever hear back from them I'll update this review, but a business that doesn't have the courtesy to call back and say "Thanks for the call. We're very busy right now but we'll get back to you by ..." doesn't have any respect for it's (potential) customers.

I did finally hear back from them, and they scheduled an appointment for a week later. The morning of the appointment it was very cold (32F) outside, so expected a call saying they would either be delayed or have to reschedule - but I heard nothing. 40 minutes after the scheduled time, I finally called them and they informed me that indeed they were delayed due to weather. They actually came the afternoon of the same day - so they lose points for not calling me in the morning, but regain those points for keeping the reschedule on the same day,

Unfortunately the issue will require digging up lines, which meant another appointment, which they were only able to schedule a month out. If that goes well, I'll add another star. But it's difficult to give them more than 3 stars when the problem still isn't fixed.

In addition, when I made the appointment, I made sure to give clear instructions on how to find my home (it can be challenging because I'm on a corner, and the entry is not on the same street as my street address). When they arrived for the appointment, they obviously hadn't been given those instructions, because they started by knocking on my neighbor's door.

So in summary:
(1) the guy who came out was very thorough and appeared very knowledgeable
(2) be prepared for communication challenges dealing with their office personnel
(3) be prepared for a long wait for an appointment slot. They're busy, which should mean they do good work at reasonable prices. But if you need a solution fast, you may need to go elsewhere.

So a lesson learned; whenever the recommendation is digging up your yard/tearing up your decking to discover the problem, ALWAYS get a second opinion.

I decided to ask another pool service to look at my pool, before I let On The Spot dig up my yard (and the brick&mortar decking around the pool). He spent about an hour troubleshooting, and determined the problem was actually due to a faulty seal at the back of the pump; he had the part on his truck and was able to replace it right then, and my pool is now fully functional again.

I called on September 19, 2017 to request a service call and no one called back. I then went to their website to schedule a service call and never heard back from On The Spot. If they are busy, I understand, give me a call back and let me know. I'll be looking for another company to fix my pool.

Jamie is the owner, and has other techs that work for him. He came to my home to find an air leak; my pool was sucking air and as a result there were air bubbles in the top of the basket when running the pump.

I had three other leak detection companies come out and no one could find the problem. I was told to start replacing the actual basket at the pump and then move on to replacing pipes etc. I thought I'd try one more time after reading about On The Spot online. I'm so glad I did!

Jamie found a huge rock that had made its way from the skimmer almost to the basket at the pump and lodged in the pipe. When he cut the pipe to take that portion of the pipe out that housed the large, long white rock to show me I couldn't believe it! It almost totally blocked the pipe/water flow.

He completely replaced and resealed all the pipe from the ground to the basket, making the area look brand new. My pool is working better than ever!

Jamie was very nice, a pleasure to do business with and an absolute genius, finding the issue in approximately 30 minutes. He knows about pools and leaks!

I would recommend him to anyone, and plan to recommend him to everyone! Great person, great service, great technician whom I will call again when I'm in need of his services.
