One Point appeared to me to be a paid henchman for American Home Shield (AHS). One Point is the worst or the worst. It appeared to me that One Point was paid by AHS to issue a report that would allow AHS to deny my claim to have my furnaced repaired. It is noteworthy that AHS had sent two previous contractors both of which issued reports that would have required AHS to repair my furnace. It is my individual, personal, subjective opinion, belief, and interpretation that the company is incompetent, dishonest, and/or unethical.  The foregoing review solely provides my individual, personal, subjective opinions, beliefs, and interpretations. Any individuals who may view this review, or any part thereof, should examine the facts and issues for themselves and form their own individual, subjective, personal opinions, beliefs, and interpretations.

Kade from On Point was very professional and respectful of my home. He is obviously very knowledgeable about his profession. He took the extra time to make sure everything was perfect. I would definitely hire On Point in the future.

On Point came out to our house recently as the HVAC company designated by our home warranty company. We asked for a heating system ""tune-up"", and we were also hearing unusual buzzing noises at our wall register. Shane, On Point's tech, came on time, listened to our concerns, and went into the attic to do the tune-up. When he came down, I expected that we would need some kind of expensive repairs or parts, but Shane reassured us that all elements of our heating system were in good working order. A good sign of an honest company. Shane also helped us with diagnosing the cause of the unusual noise at the register, and offered suggestions for correcting it. Very pleased with the honesty and professionalism of On Point. Would definitely recommend them.

On Sunday, November 19th I was scheduled to have a contractor with American Home Shield provide a second opinion regarding the problems I was having with my heating vents in my subfloor. The first contractor did not submit a complete report and only wrote one sentence ""vents need replacement due to being crushed."" American Home Shield determined from that one line it was caused by a secondary cause and not covered ""wear and tear."" The first contracting company showed up on time, they were friendly, and explained my whole heating system to me. They drew out in detail a full explanation of what was happening and explained my vents were incredibly old. The noted 1 area that appeared crushed and pointed out 2 leaks where the hard circular duct work connected to the main heater. They also reported 1 leak where 2 circular pieces of duct work came together. They were at my home for the assessment for almost an hour and were kind and I never felt rushed. They also had a great installation quote. I was very impressed. The company is called Super Air Heating and Cooling in Gilroy, CA. Unfortunately, they didn't write out in the report everything they showed me. As a DIY'er I went into my subfloor to clean some debris and remove some old cords and I saw for myself the issues that Super Air stated. So, when my claim was denied, I was very surprised, but happy to have a second opinion. When the self-proclaimed owner of On Point showed up, he didn't even say hello and introduce himself. The first thing he said was, ""So, I'm here for a second opinion"" in a judgmental way. I guided him back to the entry for the subfloor and attempted to make small talk, but he ignored me. He looked underneath quick and stated he was going to get a jumpsuit on. I kindly began to explain the history from what the previous company shared to help him out... ""they said the ductwork was crushed but maybe it's just bent..."" he immediately interrupted me and said, 'ma'am you can't bend metal ductwork, it must be crushed,"" in a very condescending way. That's when I tried to reexplain the hard duct is connected to flexible duct before it gets to the vents and that's where the bend is. Being a woman, blonde and not having the right HVAC lingo, he acted as though I was ignorant and lying. He said he would take video and show me. He was in the subfloor for maybe 5 minutes and came quickly back up. He showed me the video, but only assessed the end of the ducts where they connect to the vents and stated, ""they look like they are in great condition. One is crushed. there are no problems."" He didn't know I had been down there myself. There are leaks, there is missing insulation, and there is one bend/crushed area. I asked if he had video of where the hard metal ducts connect into the main heater and he said ""no, but if you would like me to back under I will,"" in a very annoyed and frustrated way. I responded, ""Sir, my sister's family owns a great local plumbing company, I work in healthcare, and I'm not sure why I'm not being given basic customer service?"" At this point, he stated, ""I no longer feel comfortable and said- ""I'll submit your report while he quickly left."" I'm not sure what is worse, the misogyny, the injustice of not receiving a complete assessment, or treating me like I was being dishonest. Now, here I am. First company submitted an incomplete report, and ON POINT submitted an incomplete assessment and added that I was hostile. Based on my experience I could not recommend working with this company. I've worked with family on remodeling and homebuilding for years and worked with great companies. I have never been treated this way.

The day I called my home warranty, no sooner had I hung up with them that Jackie called to make an appointment for me. We scheduled it for Moday between 10-2. Skyler called and arrived 20 minutes later. He inspected EVERYTHING! Wires, connections, checked for carbon monoxide and the heat and all was well. He answered all my questions that I had. Wonderful service!! Thanks On Point!!!

Excellent service. Our home warranty company service assigned our work order to them this morning when our water heater blew up. They were quick to respond and had a new unit installed in one day. I highly recommend them!!

Timely, efficient, and very knowledgeable.

We had another HVAC ""specialist"" come by and break our system with their recommended replacement parts. He blamed our system because it's older, and didn't bother to double check his work.

On Point found the replacement capacitor was wired incorrectly by the previous company's technician, which caused our system to fail. On Point repaired that, as well as the circuit board on our furnace, and now the whole system is working like it should. It didn't take long for him to fix either. The technician was very courteous and clearly knew what he was doing (unlike the guy at the other place).

These folks may not have many reviews yet, but they are awesome and well worth your time and money.
