Onpoint made a small leak into a massive leaks that flooded our kitchen
We originally have a leak in one of our bathroom faucet upstair. We have home warranty so they sent onpoint to fix the leak.
10/3: Onpoint came, the cartridge need to be replace, they will have ti order it for us. They will set up an appointment later when the part comes in.
I called later to see if the part comes in, they said not yet.
I called again another week. Got an appointment for oct 16. Thats 13 days of us unable to use out upstair shower.
They overbooked their technician so have to reschedule to oct 21
On oct 21, the technician came, replace the cartridge, but somehow break the shower valves or another area. Water was pouring from upstairs, creeps thru our kitchen vent and kitchen lights. Its flood the whole kitchen floor. Below are picture of the water coming thru the ceiling to our kitchen.
Again, they have to come back for it.
Came back oct 29th to fix it.
I asked about the damages of the ceiling and sheet rocks, they said call my home warranty.
I called my home warranty, they said they dont covers secondary damages.
I called back onpoint, they also say they cant help me with it,
After explaining how they messed up and why they should pay or send some one to fix it. They lady on the phone was very rude as this is our fault,
She said she will send a technician to check to see if the damages are created by them.
Next appointment nov 5th
During the whole process , i always the one that call back for updates and appointment set up, they should be the one thats setting things up and call me. I was extremely patience since first appointment was on oct 3rd. And the problem was fixed on oct 29th.
Now we into sheet rocks being wet and potential mold,

I encountered this company through my home warranty service, American Home Shield.

I paid the fee associated and submitted a few electrical repairs and upgrades to my home after Hurricane Beryl.

Unlike other companies I used, even AFTER the hurricane, they did not call me to schedule service after the allotted time so after a WEEK I called them and got placed on the schedule for a technician to come out, more than 2 WEEKS LATER.

I agreed to wait the duration because the lady on the phone stated they were backed up due to the hurricane aftermath.
I was obliging and opted to wait the extra 2 weeks.

August 6th from noon to 4pm was my technicians arrival time. I was sent autogenerated text messages to confirm my appointment.

It was getting late and I had not heard from anyone so I called around 2:30pm to no avail. No one answered my multiple calls, only option was to leave a voice mail message.

It wasn't until after 5pm that I finally get a call from someone that asked me what services I needed, despite me giving FULL detail online when setting up the service request along with repeating what services I needed to the young lady who set up the appointment.

It is now more than 3 weeks, close to a month, since submitting a request for service and the man I spoke with wasn't in the least bit concerned, or even apologetic for wasting my time all day waiting for a technician that never came.

The man gave the excuse of them being backed up since the hurricane but made no attempts to tell me why no one was there for my SCHEDULED appointment.

After reiterating what service was supposed to be provided, the man stated he would call me back.

I immediately called American Home Shield to inform them of the situation and it was at that moment I was told that ON POINT CONTRACTING INC cancelled my service request altogether.

I can't begin to express the total lack of respect of my time that this company showed.

I am a business owner, I cannot excuse my lack of professionalism and commitment to service on a weather related event. If I cannot perform a service I make apologies and am very transparent with my customers of my limitations allowing them the option to seek services elsewhere.

DO NOT use this company if you value professionalism and ethical treatment.

Company was dispatched with home warranty claim. The first visit was good and they offered several quotes to replace the water heater. We went with a replacement and the technician showed up to replace it and dispatch gave him the wrong heater so he went back to pick up the correct on. We are located in Pearland so it was a drive for the technician to get the correct one. When he left he was having trouble putting the steps up so my wife told him she would do it. He left and she put steps up. He returned and started work. They completed the job, and met my wife at front door to sign papers. We both work nights so I went to check the work the next day and the steps were broken badly. Contact the company and of course the technician said he did not do it. LIES, LIES. I know my wife did not do it. BEWARE!!!!!!

My home warranty company sent Tech from On Point Contracting. The tech said my A/C HAD to be replaced and that it was originally installed incorrectly, and there was a missing part. It would be thousands of $$$$. He submitted a report to my home warranty company and they denied my claim because of the missing part which they said contributed to the leak in coil. I got another HVAC company to look at unit...they said unit was installed correctly, there were no missing parts and that the coil could be replaced for a fraction of the cost of a new unit. I have pictures of the unit to prove On Point Contracting dishonesty....DO NOT TRUST ON POINT CONTRACTING ...they just want to make money off of your desperation in this Texas heat and your ignorance. I am not desperate nor am I ignorant!!!
