We were looking for a local construction company we could trust. We went on yelp and the best company was Omega Construction and Handyman Service. We reached out to them, and Maria got back to us soon after and set up an appointment for an estimate. We needed a complete remodeling of our bathroom. We're talking everything from top to bottom (new sink, floor, insulation, toilet, shower, tub, electrical, pipes, walls, and we even wanted a new window). Julio and the Omega team came through for us big time! They did an amazing job at a very fair price! My wife and I are so happy with our new remodeled bathroom. It's been a year and our bathroom feels and looks as new as when they finished. Omega Construction and Handyman Service are the best in the business. The communication from Julio and Maria is excellent, and the construction job is the best you'll find. We knew we found the type of construction company we were looking for. Someone we could trust to be honest and do a great job at a fair price. Omega also put in a new kitchen sink, new fuse box, new tankless water heater, new water filter, and new water lines throughout my house. My wife and I couldn't be happier! We had Julio and his hardworking team repair the siding and build a new set of stairs for an outdoor spa that had not been used in over 15 years. This review is 5 years late but because we've started remodeling other areas of our home, I decided to start writing reviews to help others with their search for a contractor.

In 2017, we contracted with Omega to replace our toilets (among other things).  In one of the bathrooms, there is a countertop over the toilet.  Because the toilet Omega purchased was too tall, they installed the toilet WITHOUT the tank cover and left it as is.

Julio and family worked on my wood siding chimney. Seemed frivolous to some but when the rains come all that water is going to damage my house as it already damaged the chimney. So had to get it fixed and Omega did it pretty well with custom siding and one coat of paint to match. Work was efficient and clean. Julio explained the situation and progress well. Thanks

Top notch from beginning to end. We've engaged with the Omega team on a few of projects, including repairing a long stretch of fence on a steep hill, kitchen remodel, remodeling both bathrooms, installing a large front of house window and rehabbing the back deck. Maria runs the back office of the business, and was super responsive and on top of all scheduling and money items. Julio manages the onsite projects and is reliable, fair and brings a thoughtful approach to the project. Always showed up when he said he would show up, approached any surprises along the way in a cost effective manner without sacrificing the quality and integrity of the project, and hit all of his timeline milestones. The Omega team will definitely be at the top of our list when future projects come up.

I hired Omega Construction to do repairs and painting on my old house in the Heritage District. Previous owners had done some faulty things, and there was a lot of deferred maintenance. Julio and his crew were completely up to the task of the myriad problems encountered in fixing this old house. They spotted problems I didn't know I had and offered many solutions to many problems. They are also creative and have a good vision for color and appearance of the house.
Things I want to let you know specifically are, that Julio has years of experience working on historic homes in San Francisco and elsewhere. He has immense pride in his workmanship and skill set, is ethical, and cares very much about the finished project. He does not cut corners, and does things right the first time.
Julio and his crew are great communicators. We check in almost every day, and he always lets me know what he is thinking and planning for the repairs and painting. When I have had worries and concerns, he addresses them and eases my mind. I have complete confidence in his decisions. They show up reliably everyday at 8 a.m. and put in a full days work 6 days straight.
Lastly, Julio's crew is his family! His wife Maria handles the business and city permits and office work, and brings lunch to the crew every day. They have 5 sons, and 4 of them are old enough and skilled enough to do the work. I enjoy them all as people and have fun talking to them. I think you will too.
Oh yes, the price is very reasonable and the contract is simple and doesn't have pages of caveats like some other contractors.
