Had a small drainage issue before Christmas Day. Had Olsson come to repair the drainage and had the drainage cleared. After them leaving we noticed that our tub wasn't draining. Mike returned after Christmas and replaced our small P-trap to a much larger one and Shazam! We have drainage!! Thanks to Mike from Olsson Plumbing. Much recommended them!!

Out main line was clogged. Adam came over and helped us to remove the clog from the line. Adam is experienced, honest and great at what he does. Mike has come out twice to relight and inspect my water heater. He came right away and DID NOT CHARGE me! Just said ""it only took me a minute"". i don't want to wish for plumbing problems in the future but if it happens, i will call Olsson. expecting to pay the next time.

the person answering the phone was also very nice and professional. she repeated the problem statement and asked if it was accurate. and asked if this is routine or an emergency. i've had messages garbled by dispatchers before so this is a great procedure to use

My dishwasher stopped working at the 2 minute mark of all cycles. I took apart the inside watching a youtube video, cleaned the filters out, reassembled, unplugged it to reset and then it worked great. Except a big lake under my sink formed. Called Olssen to help me find the source of the leak. After I told an apprentice and Mike what had happened he deduced I needed a new sink because the cast iron had rusted out at the airtrap hole. That the leak was from the dishwasher overflow valve hole not having a tight seal. When I inquired if it could be caulked to seal it Mike said it was too flaky and could no longer be sealed underneath. He took pictures to show me. I told Mike I'd send the pictures to my landlord and be in touch.
My landlord's son looked at the sink the following day. He found that the rust is surface only and minimal. The problem causing the leak was the hose between the dishwasher and garbage disposal was severley plugged. Pretty much plumber 101. A good quick cleaning out of the hose solved the leak under the sink and a rubber seal for the airtrap hole solved any issue of water getting thru that way. NO NEW SINK WAS NEEDED.
I was lied to to my face and I believe they tried to take advantage of someone who has no plumbing experience. I'm truly disappointed and angry about this interaction.
I will never call them again, and I will advise against if ever asked about their service.

I have been using Olsson for over 10 years with maybe 12-15 or so visits in that time. Each time they have solved my problem in a responsive way. I have had them do minor repairs to faucet leaks, new faucet installations, emergency leaks (gushing water!), installation of new copper piping in a tight crawlspace, new water heater, and lots of troubleshooting (which they are especially adept at). I ask for Jimmy every time as he is a true gem. He is always cordial, responsive, adept and honest. He knows his stuff, and can figure out how to solve complex problems. I feel so lucky to have them available to me.

I was looking for a business to change our water heater. Looking at Olsson Plumbing about 50 % of the reviews are negative and then there are very positive reviews. What gives?.

Overpriced, won't give you a detailed line item breakdown of the padded expenses and costs on the job. Charged me $2300 for a $1400 water heater, then wouldn't itemize the additional costs in any detail, and were really defensive about it. That tells you all you need to know. They had me over a barrel on a job for my rental unit and I paid them promptly for their full billed amount, but I don't think these guys are trustworthy. Beware.

Called at 10 pm with a water leak waited 90 minutes no driver yet ?
so i call dispatch and they say ""we cant get a hold of the driver ? so when were you going to call me and let me know ?

I never got Olsson plumbing to show up just Flake out big time.
