I've always counted on Olson for work, commercial and residential.
They have replaced water heaters, welded pipes to tanks and today cleared a blockage between house and street. It involved pulling a toilet in order to snake the sewer 100'. Toilet was reset and area cleaned like nothing had been done.
I left a message on voicemail last night, they called me first thing this morning and had a technician at the house before 8:30.
Bill was less than I expected and certainly less than digging up yard and replacing sewer line.

We have used Olsen since the 1970's and they are reliable and fair. We just had them over to redo some piping under a sink and it was done perfectly and on time. They are the best in town and always remember you get what you pay for.

Our sewer pump broke days before Christmas causing sewage to back up in our basement bathroom and utility room. It was a sh%& show and emergency situation! I immediately called the team that cleaned out our sewer line at a competitive cost with a Maxi-miller after we moved in. I research bids thoroughly and trusted Olson's reputation and work ethic.

Brian and his team of Rich and Chuck arrived promptly, diagnosed the broken sewer pump that had serviced the home for 37 years, and found a comparable Zoeller sewer pump that afternoon to install. The cast iron top was difficult to remove and it was a messy task. Rich and Chuck re-piped and installed the new sewer pump and temporarily sealed it that afternoon before our company arrived. I had plenty of time to clean up the mess and the team promised to return after the holidays with a new reinforced lid. Sure enough, I could count on Brian, Rich and Chuck. They were back on January 2nd and not only sealed up the sewer lid (along with the sewer flies), they installed a new toilet I had purchased on my own at wholesale to replace the old one that kept running and overflowing in our basement. No questions asked!

Two weeks later, I received a very fair bill. I 100% recommend Olson Plumbing. They are responsive, thorough and provide service at a reasonable price. Thank you Brian, Rich and Chuck for your answering all of our questions and concerns in a timely manner! It's hard to know who to trust these days. Olson Plumbing is on speed dial now for all of our plumbing needs.

Last month we had a technician from Olson come and diagnose why our a/c unit was not working. We contacted this company after having some other jobs completed by Olson at our new home.
After diagnosing the issue, the tech explained the problem. At some point prior to us purchasing this home, the switch part was removed from the disconnect so there was no power running to the unit.
I asked him for a quote to fix this. He told me that it is NOT a possibility to replace that piece (which I learned later on is false). He told me the entire A/C disconnect unit needed replacing so I requested a quote for this. He said the part would be $100, plus labor to complete this job. Tech had to leave to go pick up the part as he did not have one on hand. Almost 2 hours later(on the clock the entire time), he returned and replaced the unit.
Upon receiving the invoice I was shocked to see that the part actually cost $325 dollars. At NO point was I made aware of this until I saw it in the bill. At NO point did anyone contact me to authorize this extreme difference in price from what he quoted me. Add on another 300 and change for labor, and the total owing was almost $650.00.
As frustrating and disappointing as this was to be completely fleeced and disregarded by your company, I later learned that I could have purchased this EXACT same disconnect for UNDER 40 DOLLARS myself. That's quite a markup. I also learned that I could have in fact found a replacement piece for the disconnect without ever having to get a brand new unit.
After reaching out to the service manager and explaining my situation he was so concerned about my complaint that as compensation he offered me the wonderful and amazing $129 dollar deal to clean my AC unit. (Another attempt to drain more of our hard earned money from our bank account) Really? Completely disappointing customer service. I refused as there are many competitors charging $79 for the same service so why would I pay that? Eventually he said he would send someone out to do it at no charge, since he didn't want to lose us as loyal customers.
The gentleman who eventually came out and did the cleaning was excellent and also could not believe this whole situation.

We can't afford to be loyal customers to a company that does not care about quality of service and honesty. There was zero transparency or communication.

So thankful to Olson Plumbing! Needed a super quick turn around for a real estate closing on a chimney lining on a 1912 home. Someone was able to go that very day, give me a quote and two days later the liner was installed with proper permits with PPRBD. They saved the day!

Very pleased with the service from Steve with Olson Plumbing. We have had problems with a water pressure booster pump that was quite perplexing. He stuck with it until the problem (s) were resolved.

I guess Olson is too big to care about losing business. Used to use them for my rental properties, but when I called today they didn't have availability for 5 days, or 2 days on an emergency rate schedule.

Then they said they would only give me a 15-20 min call ahead. I explained that I don't live at the property and I am 45-60 min away depending.

I asked for a supervisor, and I spoke with a nice gentleman that confirmed. They would rather lose business than give the courtesy of a 1hr call ahead prior to service.

Sad to see that they just don't care anymore.

They claim to be the best plumbers in Colorado Springs, but won't return calls, or send estimates. We are always referred to Kayla, who appears to never be at her desk to help, and she's apparently the one in charge. No one returns calls, period. We just wanted some plumbing work done. Thinking Olson plumbing company would respond, too much to ask from the ""best plumbers in Colorado Springs"" ?
