After being a longtime customer I can no long do business that does not keep their word. In the face of phone recording from Voice Mail they continue to outright lie about the circumstances that kept us waiting for 5 hours. Talked with a David who claims to be a manager. David could have cared less about 5 hours spent waiting for their inspection. Says we should reschedule. Yes David, i could but since you could care less about 5 hours already wasted why should I.

The service was great but... we had a home warranty that wasn't covered. The technician did not tell my wife this until after the job was completed. She reluctantly paid but felt very taken advantage of. I called Olson and we worked out a deal. It wasn't as much but I felt better. They billed the insurance anyway and have been paid twice. Now I'm dealing with the home warranty wanting the money I paid Olson. Saying Olson states I didn't pay. I have the bank statements.

They certainly live up to the title of ""Best of the Springs"". On a Sunday morning with showers to take and laundry to do and No Hot Water! I discovered my hot water heater had a leak. Since it lasted 14 years I guess it was due. I called Olson at 8:30 am. The on call Supervisor called me back within 10 minutes. He quoted me a price and said the Technician would be here in an hour. Exactly an hour later Jacob arrived and got to work. He was a professional and got the job done perfectly in 2 hours. I really appreciate the service they provided and the great communication from them. No wonder they've been in business for 100 years. Quality pays off.

YOU CAN MAKE SOME OF THE PEOPLE HAPPY SOME OF THE TIME, BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE ALL THE PEOPLE HAPPY ALL OF THE TIME!!!
With that being said, I am happy to say I had an AWESOME experience with Olson Plumbing & Heating! I was recently doing some remodeling in my master bathroom. When my tile guy was taking out the pony wall from my old shower, he noticed that the venting pipes had been left outside the wall hidden by the pony wall. Obviously, a contractor cutting corners when the house was built. I also needed a plumber to re-pipe for a new standing bathtub. And then he informed me that he needed it done by the next day and he couldn't continue tiling until the plumbing was done. I called around to a few companies and was told they were at least 1 to 2 weeks out for that type of work :( A friend of mine recommended that I call Olson's and I'm so glad that I did :) They sent a super nice guy out the very next day. He worked with my tile guy to make sure they had all the measurements correct! A week later that same plumber came out and helped install my tub and sinks! The next day my tile guy noticed there was a water leak from the tub. I called Mike, the owner, and he sent someone right over to fix the problem. We are all human and sometimes mistakes happen! The owner was super apologetic and wanted to make sure I was completely happy. Which I am!!! The employees at Olson's were extremely professional and proficient! Thank you OLSON HEATING & PLUMBING for a job well done!!! :)

They put in a hot water heater but nid not properly secure the water pipe going into it. As a reult, my crawl space flooded. They lied about t and I had to buy another water heater. They cost me tons of money.

A different contractor did a sewer line job on the neighbors property that backs up to my property (the houses are back-to-back...no fence). The job ended up dragging on for weeks. One night I came home and found a large equipment trailer (think large horse trailer) parked in my driveway next to the house. This trailer belonged to Olson Plumbing who was working as a sub for the other contractor. I called the number on the trailer and left a voicemail, which was never returned. Someone stopped that night (prime contractor) to apologize for it being there and that it would be gone by 7:30 the next morning. Turns out it was a compressor that ran all night. The next afternoon it was still there when I returned home. I called the number on the trailer to have it removed, which was done that night. The next morning there were workers in my driveway stretching out sewer lining and backing a van up my driveway. I informed them I was done having them use my property for access and work area and asked them to use the easement if they needed needed some space. I was told it would only take 30 minutes and it was the ""only way"" they could do the job. When done, one individual (owner?) apologized for the intrusion and left.

We called to have a kitchen sink unclogged. The technician came out and after an hour told us we have a problem. I knew that. He then proceeded to tell us what we needed to do to fix it. Go dig a hole on the side of the house, down about two feet, remove the grease trap, replace with pvc pipe and we should be good to go. I called because I needed a plumber. Olson refunded $46 of the $138 charge however I didn't think it was fair to charge me $92 to tell me I had a problem, that I already knew about.

The plumber, Ellis, actually was great! He had to jackhammer a trench in my basement floor to repair a collapsing cast iron pipe. Terrible mess, but, got it done right.
But, the crew that came in to clean up and pour concrete to fill in the trench did a terrible job! A big hump, about 15 feet long with holes and ridges. When asked if they intend to flatten it out and seal it, they said ""oh the guys who come out to lay carpet will fix it""!! I was not going to lay carpet. I was putting down linoleum. They didn't care. And then they emptied a bucket full of concrete on my lawn!
If this is in your future - watch out!

I have a rental home in Colorado Springs that belonged to my late parents. They had used Olson Plumbing & Heating for decades and refused to use anyone else. After my parents passed away, I naturally continued to use Olson. Since I live out of town, they have been exceptionally helpful and accommodating. They always coordinate scheduling with my tenants, are prompt , courteous and very professional. They always call me to discuss the work that needs to be done, provide the estimated cost of repair and get my authorization before commencing work.

I have used them to do plumbing upgrades & repair; furnace inspections & repair and an annual sewer inspection and root clearing. Their work has been outstanding and their rates are right in line.

They have treated my tenants with the greatest courtesy and respect. Any time I call Olson I know the job will be done right, promptly and professionally. Since I can't be there to oversee the work or inspect it when they're finished, I don't have to worry, I know it will be done right!

I wouldn't consider calling anyone else! Highly recommend!

I had a garbage disposal pipe burst in a home I just recently purchased - water flooded my kitchen, and started leaking through the ceiling to the laundry room below. I called Olson's and within an hour and a half their plumber Sean was at my home. He explained everything to me in detail & had everything fixed quickly considering the damage - the price was also about half what I was expecting it to be. I personally had a great experience with Olson's and will be calling them again if necessary.
