I've used Ron Oliver exclusively for my plumbing needs in Sun Prairie over the last 10 years. He's replaced a water heater, water softener, dishwasher, sinks, garbage disposal, etc. His service is excellent and prices are very competitive. I would highly recommend him.

So my roof disintegrated during the August flooding, and I had a patchwork quilt of rip-outs in my ceiling, walls, and flooring to ""air out"" the water damage. Used a local restoration company to fill in the patches. After 5 + months, a drywaller, painter, and flooring expert, the final piece was putting the toilet back in place. Oliver's plumbing came out. He texted and called on a Friday to arrange the work on the following Tuesday. Showed up within an hour window timeframe, was courteous, talkative, polite, and competent. We complained about a different toilet seal issue, and he even helped fix that extra piece. He completes his work within an hour, so hourly fees are mute. The price was competitive. Overall, we would recommend.

Ron was hired out from my disaster recovery service to reinstall my kitchen and bathroom plumbing after I had a house flood this fall of 2018. Ron did a great job and I think he went above and beyond. Under my bathroom vanity is my furnace duct. Its a weird place for a duct, but the new cabinet needed to have a vent installed to allow forced air into the bath. I found a work around that I was happy with and was trying to figure out how to install it and Ron helped out. He screwed the vent down to the floor and caulked around it for me, which he didnt need to do. I cannot speak to his fees because the were charged to my home owners policy, but the work was great and he did a clean install that I am very happy with.

We needed to replace our hot water heater, and we just installed brand new carpet in our basement. Ron went above and beyond assuring me he would do everything possible to work as neatly as possible. He was prompt, affordable and very kind and educating us why the hot water heater went out after only being in use for 6 years. I would highly recommend to our friends and family.

This past week I had a very clogged kitchen disposal sink. I contact the big plumbing company in town which quoted me a certain not-so-inexpensive fee for walking in the door, plus $35 per each 15 minutes of work after the initial 30 minutes. Plus certain charges for equipment that may be used, PLUS if he worked slow and went overtime I would be charged more for that. I checked the web and found Ron Oliver. I read a few good reviews and personally I prefer to work with a local small outfit. I was not disappointed. Ron showed up at 4:30 and was out by 5:30. He did a very good job and we had some good conversation. Good Guy. Best of all, he honored his flat fee that he quoted on the phone earlier in the day, without jacking on OT! I got a Very good job for a Very good value. This is the guy you need to call!

called this guy up and he came without notifying me prior to see the job. Upon checking out the job, he gave a flat rate which is out of nowhere, but decent and surprisingly lower than other plumbers. However, when I called him back to set an appointment to come in and work on the job, no answers and didn't call back even though I left many messages. Then finally got hold of him weeks later and set a date to work, but he never showed up. I wonder what kind of incompetent business is this so I come on here to share and ask if anyone has the same experience.
