I wish I had called Olivero sooner; I hired another company that sent a young technician who was in over his head. My problems continued and worsened. When I called Olivero I could tell from the woman who answered that my experience with them would be different. She asked the right questions, answered mine quickly, and scheduled my job for a date just a few days away. What was really impressive was that, the day before my scheduled appointment, the Technician called me, he was in the area, had some time, and would I like him to do the job sooner? He arrived at my doorstep 20 minutes later. Such a relief. He was obviously experienced, understood what I was describing and was in and out of my home within a half hour. Everything has been working well ever since. I highly recommend them.

Called for a rate and they didn't even let me finish before providing rates .. unbelievable and who they think they are dealing with these days . It could be something as simple as tighten a valve. No they just went totally left with their telephone conversation. I mean you can look up anything on the internet and find out how processes and procedures work !! Cost and estimates ., what may or may not need to be done . Unbelievable

They did a great job for us!! Julie in the office kept everything organized for us - she is knowledgeable, communicative and helpful. Anthony and Mauro were timely, friendly and efficient. And! Even after digging a big trench for a new pipe, they patched it up so good that our front yard looks better now than before! :) Super happy with their workmanship and customer service!

I have been using Olivero Plumbing for about five years, after working with a couple other local plumbers. Olivero is professional, ethical, and very competent. I want to give them a special shout out for the fact that Julie, who often is the first person I talk to when calling for an appointment, is quite knowledgeable. In a couple instances, she has been able to correctly diagnose the issue and suggest how I can fix it myself, or at least give her a more specific idea of what the actual problem might be.

The most recent example of how smart Julie (and by association, her employer) is, is I called for help with a kitchen disposal that wouldn't activate, and whose reset button hadn't been triggered. Julie told me that the problem was more likely electrical, not plumbing, and to check the power to the AC outlet first before booking with them. She was right! So: ethical and experienced; highly recommend!

These plumbers were pleasant to deal with and did a good job. My rating is a reflection of their billing practices, which I felt were misleading. David, one of the partners, came out to look at our job and quoted us a fee of $135 per hour. Two plumbers showed up and completed the job in under three hours. To our surprise, their service was billed at $1080. When I called to request an explanation for this, I was told that each plumber billed $135 per hour and charged for travel time, resulting in a 4 hour charge from each. We were never told that the job required two plumbers or that we would be billed for travel time. We have never been billed for travel time by other plumbers we have worked with. I think it would have been more honest to tell us that we would be billed $135 per plumber, that two would have been required, and that we would be billed for each of their travel times. Then we could have determined whether, based on that, we wanted to talk to other plumbers.

Couldn't recommend this family business enough. Everybody I've interacted has been polite and pleasant on top of doing a great job. We had a corroded sewer pipe that needed replacing and David was quick to come over the next day, assess the situation, and provide a quote. He also confirmed our speculation of some shoddy work done by a previous contractor.

The next week Kyle and Vincent came out and were absolute genteleman, good to chat with, and got the work done in a quick manner. They showed us the pipe and reviewed the work when they finished.

I am happy to have found a local family owned business for our plumbing needs for the future. Bonus points to being dog friendly as well.

This is the worse plumbing company in the East Bay. Their plumbers are incompetent and the office staff are horrible about backing their work, following through on purchase orders and dealing with customers.
I highly recommend ""not"" using this company for anything.
