Called to get an estimate, the woman on the phone was rude, didn't understand what I was asking. Tried to push an almost $600 fee to come out and give an estimate. When I said I guess I'm not explaining myself clearly, she said ""No you're not"". I hung up. Terrible customer service.

This review is long overdue. Olivero plumbing is one of those wonderful, local businesses that just gets things right.

On the most recent job, we wanted a problematic faucet and garbage disposal replaced, because they both produced long term headaches with leaks and stoppages.

I thought I was being helpful by picking up new items at costco prior, in case they needed replacement. No need, with the dynamic ""Vincent"" at the helm. He quickly assessed the challenges, taught me how to avoid such headaches in the future, and even included a magical tool to get the gd running again in case it wants to take a snooze.

With the heart of a teacher and the confidence of a superhero, Olivero's staff certainly deserve to be on this homeowner's speed dial.

Very professional and friendly. They were able to come out really quickly. The plumber I think his name was Vincent was very nice and had my leaking sink pipes fixed in no time. I'd definitely recommend this business!

I tried scheduling an appointment via email at first, but that went nowhere. I had more success calling. As with other plumbers I contacted, don't expect an appointment for tomorrow unless it's an emergency.

The woman on the phone quoted a 3-hour window in which the plumber would arrive. They hit the middle of that window. Much to my surprise, not one but two people appeared at our door.

They listened intently when I told them what I had already done, and then what I needed them to do. The two plumbers were very courteous and very efficient. I think they were done in a little over an hour.

Our sink was ready to go, and our toilets stopped leaking. Both plumbers picked up and cleaned up after themselves nicely. Excellent experience. The bill was even lower than I expected with two people on the job.

We will definitely use them again in the future.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Scheduling did a great job. She was proactive and moved our appointment sooner, which we really needed. However, the Tech (Vincent) is the reason why I'm writing the review. He was right on time, extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and the list goes on. You could tell that the job being done correctly was what he was most concerned with. If there is a slight wait for an appointment, it's worth it! These guys are great. Thanks for reading my review. - Andrew

They answer their phone, they ask great questions so the repair person can be prepared with correct parts, and they came when they said they would. Problem fixed. Great service. So appreciate this! Definitely will use them again.

Was referred here by another company since my usual wasn't able to come in until Monday. I called around and this was the only plumbing company able to come in on Friday, so I went for em.
They came within the time frame we agreed to. They easily fixed the leaky faucet like any decent plumber should be able to. My 2nd issue was in regards to some juddering. They replaced the washers from that faucet as well and went on their way. The juddering went away for two days, but came back all the same. I called and scheduled a time for them to check on the sink again. We arranged a time the following week since they were busy. I should have called my usual place, but didn't want to be rebilled for work that this company should have been able to do.
They ended up having a cancellation and gave me a time frame where a plumber could arrive earlier. I agreed, but the guy came 30 mins too early and I couldn't make it back in time to receive him. I called Olivero and asked if he could come back at our scheduled time, which he couldn't, then asked if I could have our old timeframe back to which they told me they likely scheduled someone else over mine already, even though I only spoke with them a few hours prior.
I ended up just calling my usual plumber. Came by, diagnosed and fixed the problem in 10 minutes.
It's been about a month now and Olivero still hasn't called me back, but they have sent me a bill. I suppose they did do some work, so I didn't bother disputing it. But I definitely won't be calling these guys again.
There are a TON of talented and professional plumbers in this area, these guys aren't them.

I had a stopped up kitchen sink only, the rest of the plumbing in the house was fine.
These guys spent almost 2 hours and didn't fix the problem. They also charged me full price after being unsuccessful.
Their only solution was a costly one of replacing my whole kitchen line.
The plumber had said they would deduct the price of the first repair if I went with the second repair, this sounded pretty fair considering...
When I spoke to the office and told them that, they said no way would they deduct the cost of the first repair. I received a quote from them for the second repair showing full price! Needless to say, I passed on the ""deal"".
I called another company, they showed up well equipped and within 30 minutes had my problem solved! They didn't overcharge me either.
So, there it is...

Fantastic service in response to a kitchen sick faucet triggered flood. Vincent zipped over early a.m. and successfully tackled the problem. I would highly recommend--thorough repair, with double and triple checks. Very appreciated!

I am always amazed how some companies can stay in business when their customer service practices and follow ups are just plain lousy. I can't testify to their work, because they never showed up, but certainly can talk about how poorly the appointment set up was handled. Starting with their ""secretaries"" who seemed borderline bothered by talking on the phone. I needed an estimate to replace an old water heater with a tankless, roughly a $ 5- 6000 deal. I got the first appointment, more or less reluctantly and it was 3 weeks in the future. I figured I can wait. Estimate date arrives, nobody showed up. Later that day I found a message on my home phone, not cell, saying estimator is sick. Called next day to follow up and to reschedule but they couldn't tell how long, apparently the only person who does estimates, would be sick. Called again 5 days later, still thinking I'll give them a chance, but the secretary told me that they can't schedule anything in the near future because they have other estimates to take care of. I did mention that I was scheduled once and nobody showed up, I also mentioned that it would be for a tankless water heater, not a cheap undertaking. I understand people get sick, happens. I understand somebody might be late, happens. What I don't understand is when I already had a long awaited scheduled appointment with an estimator and he doesn't show up due to sickness, then don't blow me off saying we have other estimates to take care of and can't schedule you anytime soon. It's rude, It's a waste of a potential customers time, it's poor business practices, because I will be the one NOT recommending this company to any of my friends/family and clients. I am a project manager who does the hiring of companies for home remodels all over the bay area. This company will be on my red list.
