O'Leary was the subcontractor used by my general contractor, and they were responsible for the HVAC system on my addition. It was installed in summer 2020 and has been a lemon ever since. Anytime the temperature outside gets above 85, our brand new system doesn't cool - my indoor temperature in the addition rises to very uncomfortable (sometimes mid 80s!) temperatures. They have come out four times to fix it. TBD if it's actually fixed now.
All I know is my 35 year old system on our main floor operates like a champ, and it's very confusing why this one is so awful.
Great Service. Honest and gave us options to save money. Professional .
We were without water and appreciated their quick response and repair.
Rate them 5 stars.
Kelly B.So-so experience, not operating at the same level of their competitors. I had a technician come to my home to address my broken furnace. After assessing for 10-15 min I was informed it was in need of a astronomical repair. I opted to receive an estimate for another furnace or full system. After another 10 min he said I would be getting something via email. I received a generic, high level estimate with 4-5 options the next day. I was never asked budget, am I happy with what I have today, are their additional things that could be added to improve my quality of life etc. The estimate lacked critical details that I would expect for a purchase that is going to exceed $3K. Might be okay for a quick fix, but beware the service call fee and repair fee were well above others once I did my research.
O'Leary came out today to look at our sump pump and collect water samples. Kyle was great! He was friendly, professional and efficient.
Needed a lift pump in my septic system replaced. They sent out one of their ""professionals"" with apparently whatever pump was laying around the shop. The guy worked for weeks trying to install a 110 volt pump in a 220 volt system. Had to have the tank pumped so he could TRY to get it fixed and had to pay a second time for another company to do it right. When I presented them with my $200 out of pocket expense for their guy to mess things up, I was told to pound pavement.
They are NOT professional, knowledgeable, or customer friendly. My advice would be to stay far, far away from this business
I cannot say enough good things about O'Leary. They are always there for me, my family and my business. Years ago when our well pump malfunctioned with 15 overnight guests they came out on a holiday to fix it. When the pipe out to our septic field froze and sewage was backing up in our bath tub they came out immediately and got the pipe opened. Believe me, it was quite a mess! More recently my daughter's food/coffee truck had a problem with a pump and they were able to fix it. I am a Realtor and today I had an inspection and the seller had turned off the hot water heater when she left for Florida. After trouble shooting with me by phone, they came out and got it up and running for the inspection. They have also done septic, well and water testing for many of my clients. Their reception and dispatch desk are so friendly and helpful. I have confidently recommended them to friends, neighbors and clients. A+ team. Wonderful service!
Lisa D.My association hired O'Leary to fix a leak underground that was on my property while I was not there. They cut an electric line and the plastic drainage around the perimeter and did not notify me. They also made a mess of the area, killed all my perennials, uplifted the wood boarder and just left it like that. I called and asked what they were going to do about the electric and they said it was not there problem, that the lines were not marked. What happened to customer service? I had to pay an electrician to get my power back and now I am looking for a landscaper to clean up after the damages they did.
Matt H.called yesterday and they stopped by today to purge my solar system of air and get me up and running again. wayne was friendly and got everything completed efficiently-- system is working well now. he even showed me what to watch for / how things work -- i like learning about how the system operates. nothing but good things to say despite their other reviews. thanks o'leary plumbing
Had O'Leary come out due to our furnace leaking while running the AC. Found a plugged T fitting, cleaned it out along with a few tubes which took about 5 minutes total and waited 20 minutes to make sure everything was running right. Costed $150, kind of ridiculous considering the time and effort it took and the fact that it was a local customer that lives 5 minutes away from the business. I don't know what other places would charge for something like that, but regardless it's a BS amount to charge someone for such a simple job when they don't have to spend any gas really or manpower for long.
Mark E.What can I say they don't do a good job. They tested my well system prior to me buying a home. According to them it worked fine, but from day one I had very little water pressure and the well ran all the time. How could it have been in great shape when they checked it. They refuse to accept responsibility and at least me me half way. I'm talking a small amount of money Not thousands... But not even willing to discuss it. That is a bad business practice. Unprofessional and would not recommend them to anyone.
