Recommended Customer Reviews
Olde Towne Plumbing has replaced a basement sink and outside faucet for us. Their work is quality and their prices are reasonable. They are friendly and come out when they say they will be there.
Competent plumber with somewhat misleading billing practices. When I first called, they said they charged $130 plus trip charge. But they arrived with two people, one of whom seemed to be a trainee. When I got the bill, it wasn't itemized and seemed high, which after many questions and a request for an itemized bill led to the realization that they were billing half time for a more junior plumber. So, the real cost was about $195 per hour plus trip charge. This could be a good deal if your job requires four hands but probably not if it's a one person job and the second person is mainly just watching and learning. Also, if you politely question their billing practices, the person who answers the phone get very testy and tell you to go find another plumber. So, I guess they have plenty of work, which probably means most people are satisfied with the job they do. Personally, I like transparency and communication so I found they experience a little upsetting.
Had an issue with my plumbing several weeks after the repair. They came out today and fixed it gratis. Very responsive and professional.
Lynn B.It's so hard to find a good, reliable plumber who actually comes out to fix something when they say they are, but this company is definitely trustworthy and keeps their word!!! I had a part that had to be replaced with the garbage disposal and they were able to come out quickly and handle it!
ALSO they did a good job of taking precautions like wearing a mask which was reassuring.
Jason D.Since we moved into our house, Olde Towne has performed a pre-purchase sewer line inspection, three small projects and also made a troubleshooting trip for a low water pressure problem. Their plumbers are experts at their work, friendly people and punctual.
Do be aware, their office keeps 'regular' business hours, so not the first call for an after-hours or weekend emergency. But - if you have time to book an appointment, Olde Towne should be at the top of your list.
Wonderful company, wonderful service, about as good as it gets. From calling the office to dealing with the professionals to come to the house, it's all easy, efficient, honest, and accurate. Thanks for serving the community, Olde Towne Plumbing!
Billie B.When my do-it-myself plumbing job went horribly wrong, I called Olde Town and they were able to arrive within minutes to save my day! They fixed what I could not. I greatly appreciate the excellent and prompt service. My go-to plumber forever and ever.
It's not often that we need to call a plumber, but the two times we have. We have called Olde Towne Plumbing.
In our last call to Olde Towne, Andrew was the gentleman that came out.
He did a great job fixing a leaking toilet tank that had rusted bolts that needed to be cut out. This was something I would not have been able to do myself.
Thanks Olde Towne!
Darrell B.Had an irrigation meter installed. Keep in mind, the city comes out and puts the meter in, Old Towne put in a T from the main line to the irrigation system and the connectors for the irrigation meter in that run. Irrigation system already there about 2 feet away, just need a connection for the new meter. The charge was $750! 4 hours to install. The plumber had to take a trip to get supplies despite having a picture of the install sent to them 3 days prior to installation. Burned a hole in the vapor barrier in the basement wall insulation. And to top it off, it leaked in under 8 hrs.
Quality of work - Poor
Speed of work - Poor
Value for price - Poor
Preparedness - Poor
Save yourself that sinking feeling that you have been had, and find someone else.
I had a toilet shutoff valve start leaking over the weekend. I called a couple of different places based on reviews here, and Olde Towne was the first to answer in person. By the time anyone else had even called me back, they already had someone on their way over.
Kim was courteous, knowledgeable, and fast. Within three minutes he had found the indoor whole house shutoff valve that previous plumbers had told me didn't exist (everyone else has had to shut it off from the street). The whole thing was done in under an hour, including finding and fixing a secondary issue that wasn't visible until after the valve had been fixed. I will gladly call them again.
