My power vent hot water heater wasn't working properly. I contacted Old World Plumbing, a division of Valley Fire Protection Systems, and a plumber was at my home within the hour. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained the faulty code, installed the replacement part, and tested the heater for proper operation. I believe his name is Armando. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely call Old World Plumbing in the future! By far, best service! Definitely recommend Old World Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs.

I was at work last week and I got a call from my son saying he wanted to take shower but only cold water was coming out after 15 mins. We had just moved into the house 3 yrs ago and I had no idea where to start, so I asked my son to look at the heater for any stickers and there was an Old World Plumbing sticker on it. I called them and the lady who answered the phone Kim S was so professional, kind and very helpful. She was able to get someone out right away. The plumber that came out was Rob. Again he was very professional, polite, clean, knowledgeable. The cost for this service call was very reasonable! ( I called around to get quotes and some places charged overtime fee for same day service! ) I have recommended Old World Plumbing/ Valley Fire Protection System to family and friends.

My water heater was leaking and I was very concerned it would get worse and flood my carpeted basement. I called Old World, now part of Valley Fire, who sent a Plumber out same day. looked at it, showed me the issue and changed it out immediately. He was prepared, curious, efficient and pleasant. Took the old water heater out and cleaned up when finished. Excellent service!!!!

Extortionists! I was billed for 2 hours and $360 to clear a simple drain. A job that takes a real plumber 15-30 minutes and should cost no more than $200. Please call any other plumber. These guys are scum.

Whats the worst thing everyone wants to come home to? That's right, A wet basement. After Cleaning up a bit I figured it was time to call a plumber. I asked around and heard nothing but amazing things about Old World Plumbing. The Plumber we had come to our house was Robert. And I must say he was very professional and polite. He told us there was a clogged main drain in the basement which is why our utility sink was overflowing. Before I knew it, he had used his machine to clear up the pipes and was writing an invoice for me. I can't begin to explain how quick and easy he made it for us. And super affordable too. Great Company

My kitchen sink clogged on 12/23...I called Old World Plumbing that evening and Tim said he would be out 1st thing in the morning....Christmas Eve and I am hosting a houseful of people....Tim is there by 8:30 and my sink is fixed by 10...He was professional, quick and a really nice guy. The price seemed reasonable and he took his time in making sure the job was done right and I understood what was repaired. I would call Old World again and will recommend to friends.

So my basement flooded this week (the week of the heavy rainstorms) like many others and needed my sump pump replaced. Well I went through yelp- just because I was in a rush I didn't want to get taken for a monetary ride. So Old World was the first one I called because it happened to be in my neighborhood and had one good rating, I called and a nice woman answered and I asked her if she had technicians available...she did not but she would be happy to put me on a waiting list but...and there would be a $100 emergency fee even though it wasn't during late hours or early evening (I called mid day) she said it was due to all the calls they were receiving. I asked her if this fee would guarantee me getting someone out to my home that day -trust me I understand that they had a lot of people calling I get it-a lot of people were having the same issues I was...she said no there were no guarantees that someone would even come out that day- then she said they were going to charge everyone emergency rates...seriously? Just because a lot of people were calling you but you could not get anyone in...That is a nice way to take advantage of people during an emergency....nice really nice...but she did say I could call other companies and maybe they could get me in and that is exactly what I did...I will take my business elsewhere.

If you want a company that treats its local customers this manner- then call this company you will have your pockets emptied even before they do anything...but they sure are nice about it.

I gave 2 stars because

1. At least they had someone answering the phones (many plumbing companies due to high volume calls did not answer thier phones)

2. The woman who answered the phone was really nice...even though her company was not being that nice :(

I love this place so much that I went out of my way to create a business listing for them. That's HUGE since I am generally pretty darn lazy!!

When we needed a sprinkler system installed in our new house, Old World Plumbing was there! Jeremy came out on a Friday to see what needed to be done. He looked around, wrote down what he needed to do, and then he said he would be back on Monday (this was not an emergency in any way, so that was fine!)

Then Monday came, and we had had a breakout of Strep Throat (wily little beast...) in our house. Rather than possibly infect him as well, we moved the date of the sprinkler install to the next week. They were friendly, understanding, and everything went really smoothly.

When it came to the actual sprinkler install, Jeremy was professional, friendly, and fast. It only took him a few hours to do what he needed to do. He was clean, he warned me when things were starting (so I could tell the kids about the drills and such so it didn't scare them), and he was a total professional.

Two weeks later (darn my bad luck!!), we had a ""situation"" in which sewage was leaking into our laundry room. I will spare you the nitty gritty (literally) details, but Jeremy was there just a couple short hours after we called. (Oh, and I feel like I should mention that this sewage situation had NOTHING to do with the work he had done a couple weeks prior! It just happened to be a big coincidence that we would need a plumber again so soon!)

Again, Jeremy was fast and really knew what he was doing. He fixed things in a short amount of time and got the house up and running in no time!

Thanks to Old World Plumbing for all of their help! If we have any more problems, I definitely know who I will be calling!

Had to call someone in after a hot water heater leak in February. These guys are perfect. Got a quote right away, they were very flexible in scheduling around us (we suddenly had to go out of town for a funeral), and got the old water heater out and the new one in in less than a day. I couldn't have asked for better service. And they've followed up to make sure everything is still working as well as it should.
