The founder, the master plumber, earned his master plumber title back in 1927. He became known as a rare master plumbers of Queens. He trained a number of plumbing professionals that continue to run family businesses in the area. He faced the economic downturn and raised two sons single-handedly. After the conclusion of WWII, my father, James Jr., became part of the family business and earned a licensed plumber during 1965. I inherited the business after my father in the year 1989 following my completion of my Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of NY. We remain a family-operated business focused on delivering the very best service to our community in Suffolk County.

Old Walt Plumbing was inherited by me, Oliver Lawrence in the year 1989. In the beginning, residential service work was our main focus, however, as the business quickly began to grow, our expertise increased. In 1995, we grew to include new construction projects, boiler replacements, along with steam and condensate work among other large-scale commercial projects. Since then, Old Walt Whiteman Rd Plumbing has received multiple commercial contracts.
