Just called Old Towne Plumbing for a clogged toilet. They told me they would have someone call me back within 10 minutes. 1 1/2 hours later, no one had ever called. I ended up calling them to let them know no one has ever called. They said they would put in a priority request again. I told them not to bother, that I've called another plumber who actually DID return my call and came out within the hour. Avoid....avoid....avoid Old Towne Plumbing

Ralph and Aaron did an outstanding job. They were prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They fixed what seemed to be a major problem within 1.5 hours. I highly recommend them.

Old Towne Plumbing is a scammy company. I have a tenant who believed she had mold in her unit, so she called this company. Carl Shields came out and told her it was bad. I spoke to him and he told me it was bad and would need all sorts of expensive work. To prove it, he told me would come back to the unit with a camera and take pictures of the insides of the walls. He said he would hire a 3rd party company to take samples and do testing. Shields quoted me at $800 for the testing and told me that everything else would be part of a free estimate.

Everything about him seemed fishy, but I was very busy with other work at the time and my tenant was so convinced she was getting sick due to mold. I told Shields to send me a work contract before doing any testing. He never sent the work contract nor did I sign anything; he scheduled with the tenant and came in there to do the testing anyway and tried to bill me for $1,210.

When I objected to the extra $410 in extraneous charges, instead of addressing them, Shields started to accuse me of being an absentee landlord.

I don't know how many plumbing companies out there make their work on predatory practices like this, but this is the first time I've ever come across it. Steer clear of this company!

If you're looking for honesty, integrity and plain hard working plumbing crew, look no further, these guys are it, hands down. We had a serious back up so Ralph B and Karl B show up to snake our mainline. Durning the process they get a confused look on their faces and asks if we are on septic? We replied that we were told we are on sewer, they shake their heads and said that we were lied to. So They bust out their camera and send it down the mainline to show us and sure enough we are on a septic tank still. So Karl pulls the plans from the city and everything was written up that we are suppose to be sewer but the original owner never hooked up. Oh Dammit. Karl assures us he'll do his best to keep the costs to as affordable as he can. The next day a crew of 6 come out and get started, 3 days later we are back up and running, Karl gives us the bill and we hug him, because his price was no where near the prices of others, I called for a quote from two other plumbing companies and it was upwards of 20k. Thanks guys you rock.

Twice I've had an emergency plumbing situation, and twice these guys have come out on a weekend to accommodate me. Can't say enough about them! Quick response, this last issue was late on a Friday night, I spoke to Carl and he assured me they'd get someone out first thing in the morning. And sure enough Aaron showed up at 9:00 am on Saturday to help me out! He was very friendly, snaked both my kitchen sink and bathtub, cleared the problem AND cleaned up after. Very reliable and efficient both times they have come to my rescue. Thanks again!

One night I discovered I had an underground pipe leak in my garage.
My neighbor recommended ""Old Towne Plumbing."" In a panic I called them
and despite the short notice they were at my home the next morning.
Ralph and Erin fixed the problem in short order. The pipe leak also
caused considerable damage to the adjoining walls of my laundry room.
They also took care of this in short order as well, even repairing walls that
had prior water damage. Additionally, Carl the assistant manager handled
and resolved all of my insurance issues. Not that anyone needs a plumbing
problem, but if you ever do have one look no further and confide in

Called Old Towne to set up an appointment to check out my A/C unit. Not only did he show up on time but he was able to give me a quote that was hundreds less than what another repair company quoted me. Thanks for taking care of me Old Towne.

Made an appointment for Ralphie to come out, he didn't call or show. Called a couple hours after I wasted my afternoon. Gave him the benefit of the doubt. My husband had to call twice to set up a second appointment (I was done!). He came out to give us a quote and promised he would call with a estimate on installing a water softener. He never called...

HORRIBLE BEWARE. Totally and absolutely ripped me off. Did not install the part they said they installed and billed me for. Know this for certain as the new plumber actually installed the part and new plumber gave me back the original that was still in the toilet. Also made a second apt with me and completely did a NO SHOW and would not return my 3 calls to him. Sent demand letter and if necessary Taking him to small claims for the work.
