Company Overview

Our goal as a local business is to provide a personalized and skilled service at a reasonable rate. With over 25 years of experience, I work alongside my partner, who also brings more than 25 years of expertise. We are committed to serving Woodstock and its neighboring regions, as well as giving back to the community that we love. It was crucial for me to incorporate ""service"" into our company name. I feel honored to have served my country, and I am dedicated to serving others. Your actions truly reflect your character, and I stand by that belief. If possible, please support the Cherokee Humane Society; they are doing amazing things for our community! I strive to create a satisfying service experience for everyone we serve. I am a master plumber, fully licensed and insured. I have 25+ years of expertise in every facet of plumbing. My first nine years were spent learning under the guidance of Forrest, a plumber with more than 45 years of experience. It was a true blessing to learn from the best!

I have resided in Kennesaw in the same house for 30 years so I have cycled thru a few plumbers in that time. I am a Georgia Tech engineering graduate. In the last two days, I needed a plumbing company to diagnose an issue with my 10 yr. old tankless hot water system. Luckily, I save suggestions I read on Nextdoor for just the occasion. I want to highly recommend 'Old School Plumbing' as others have done before. They replaced my tankless with a new one and replaced my pressure relief valve (circa 1985). Just wow! They are the best plumbing company (Veteran owned) I have ever experienced. Mike and team did exactly as we discussed, there was no sales pressure, the pricing was fair in my opinion (not cheap; that is not what you want), and the final walk thru revealed what 'master plumber' means. The unit that was removed was installed by one of those cheap plumbers and was so out of code it was crazy. I hope this helps someone, I am very pleased and they are my goto plumbers from now on.

The owner/operator and master plumber, Mike Olah, came to assess two plumbing issues I had within 30-minutes of contacting him. He is a very amicable, courteous and knowledgeable plumber - and after he thoroughly reviewed both issues, he scheduled a time to make the repairs (two days later) - as he needed authorization from my landlord to proceed. However, one of the issues was with the main shower knob not fastened to the water pipe (due to corrosion) - not allowing me to adjust the water temperature while showering. He took the time to show me how to use a simple technique using a pair of plyers to adjust the water temperature - so I didn't have to go two days without showering. When he arrived on time two days later to complete the repairs, he was just as polite and friendly, and worked efficiently to complete both issues - and even did a few extras at no additional charge! He is very skilled, very professional and extremely passionate about doing things the correct way. Thanks Mike - you're awesome!

I got this company from a referral on the Nextdoor application. I called a few other places and no one had availability so I figured I would call and see how it goes. I had a clog in my main drainpipe in the house. I called and the owner (Mike Olah) picked right up and talked to me about the issue. He said he would be there late afternoon and would text me to update me on his way. I was a little leery that he wouldn't show but he texted me a few times and he did show up! He was a nice guy and very professional. There was no pressure after he diagnosed the issue and gave his recommendation. He fixed the issue but what stood out to me was that he cleaned up after and gave me a few recommendations on things I could do in the future and even offered to walk me through via phone if I wanted to do it myself. I was very happy that he was a man of his word and the bill was exactly what he quoted. I highly recommend him if you don't want to deal with a big company and just want a plumber with integrity.

I highly recommend Old School Plumbing. Last plumbing company came by and said that they would have to cut into wall in order to get stopper assembly out of the trap and would cost around $700. Mike came by and spent nearly an hour and was able to fix without doing as the previous plumbing company suggested. I was extremely happy even before I heard the bill. He said that instead of paying him for me to donate to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Thank you so much!

This business is NOT closed . . . I was just serviced over the Thanksgiving holiday and I was very pleased with the job that was done. You won't get a better bang for your buck and this guy really knows his stuff.

We have used Old School Plumbing for several years. Mike initially installed new toilets in our home, put in new faucets in our bathroom and he is our go-to plumber for any needs which may come up. Johnny is now partnering with Mike and they make a great tag team. They are both very knowledgeable plumbers and are very amicable, courteous and respectful, plus have awesome personalities and feel like family. Most importantly, we can totally trust them and they are honest and will do the work needed and won't rip you off charging for things that are not necessary. They really are """"Old School"""" which is sometimes hard to find in this day and age.
