We had an emergency for a gas leak this week. When we called Sean Arone, he said he could be to our house in an hour. We were so grateful for his response as it was 29 degrees and we are elderly. Sean kept in touch through text and calls before arrival. The plumbers who came were very professional and fixed the valve in a short amount of time. National Grid had locked the meter and although they came back to unlock the meter the gas man refused to light the pilot even though we were told they would do this upon their return. We called Sean and he once again had a positive response and sent out a plumber after hours who came and lite the pilot and made sure everything was working in the house. We have been on the Cape over twenty years and worked with a plumbing company which refused to come out for four days, and another one that said 3 weeks. Service in an emergency is so important especially in 29 degrees. We will be giving all of our business moving forward to Sean Arone and we will be recommending him to everyone we know. Sean Arone, the owner of Old School Plumbing and Heating in South Yarmouth Mass is a young guy with a good number of apprenticeships in his quiver. He is extremely responsive to calls and texts . He's very direct in what he can do and what he can't do mostly in terms of time. He is a very capable young man, and very interested in providing the very best work that he can to his customers. There is not much that he can't do as far as I can tell. We own a family home on Cape Cod that is now a second home with its inherent problems after being built in the 1960s. At this point it's very hard to get plumbers to even return your calls. Sean is not one of these. He fixed our plugged kitchen sink and was able to restore the plumbing that had been done incorrectly to the correct situation. He has also done other smaller jobs around the house. I highly recommend him and have been recommending him to neighbors in our area as it is almost impossible to get plumbers at this time especially plumbers who know what they're doing and are interested in doing a good job. Sean is your guy! He is already very busy which is not a surprise to me at all.
