Established in 1951 by Oliver J. Laughlin and his spouse Catherine, O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company has grown to include more than 30 field personnel, comprising plumbers and laborers, as well as a seven-member office team. We are committed to providing our field workers and clients with the support they need to execute our projects efficiently and profitably.
In our 64th year of service, O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company is dedicated to maintaining the business principles of our founder, providing our customers with complete plumbing services. We credit our achievements to two simple yet powerful principles instilled by Oliver: treat others how you want to be treated, and approach work for others as you would for yourself.
Dan, a third-generation member of the family business founded in 1951 by his grandfather and later managed for over 30 years by his uncle Bob Laughlin, takes immense pride in his heritage. After graduating from Parkway West High School, Dan began a five-year apprenticeship program sponsored by Plumbers/Pipefitters Local 562. After securing his plumbing licenses in St. Louis City and St. Louis County, he was promoted to Job Foreman, managing O.J. Laughlin's larger plumbing projects. Following five years as a Field Foreman, he moved into the office, receiving training to become an Estimator and Project Manager. Dan was elevated to Vice President in 2000, where he became responsible for a wide range of commercial, industrial, medical, and healthcare projects. He took full responsibility for all design/build projects. On December 28, 2012, Dan and Bob Laughlin executed a purchase agreement, giving Dan complete ownership of O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company, Inc.

This company has been amazing. They are professional and on time. They are reasonably priced and do not try and do unnecessary work. The stack in basement was splitting and they were able to saw off the damaged section and replace it with PVC pipe. It looks great and it took no time at all. I highly recommend for any of your plumbing needs.

Julie B.Two months ago we just finished a full kitchen remodel. Then, last week, a pipe behind the wall in the new kitchen decided to start leaking. We called out a different plumber and that plumber told us we needed to either rip out the brand new kitchen or else cut a large hole in the side of the house before he could even give us a quote.
We called OJ Laughlin to get a second opinion. They took the time to search for an alternative to pulling out our brand new kitchen and in the end their solution took only 2 hours and was so much more affordable (seriously, they save us thousands!). We were so thankful for their ingenuity! In addition, our plumber was incredibly nice and professional, and he wore a mask the whole time.
We would recommend this company to anyone! Our house came with many plumbing problems and they will be our first choice from here on out! The only downside was that we had to wait a couple of extra days because they were so busy, but the wait was well worth the savings.
Thea G.Their price is insane!!! My job was simple. The plumber was in and out in 15 minutes and I still had to pay an hour minimum fee! The parts were $3!!! The price is ridiculous. Overrated!
