Prompt response. Qualified technicians. Courteous and personable. Excellent work.
What more could anyone want from their plumber?
I am so happy I found them to do my work when needed.

Ohmstead Plumbing was an answer to my prayers this past Saturday. Visiting my elderly homebound mom, her well switch went bad. No water. They answered my call promptly, very professional and pleasant while listening and reporting the issue. Technician responded to the home and fixed the issue quickly. They were forthcoming with the costs, then giving advise on the health of the well. I am grateful for their service and thankful for the nicest Technician. Restored everything as they found it. I rec highly.

Very punctual and professional. Came across a few setbacks but they were able to correct them expeditiously. Would recommend them for any plumbing problems.

Our well was leaking and causing the water in our home to lose pressure. We called 6 different companies and couldn't even get a call back until we called Ohmstead Plumbing. They were courteous, called when they said they would, showed up when they said they would, and provided excellent service. They were upfront about pricing, fair and efficient, and provided quality work. Highly recommend.

**WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER**
If I could I would give them minus stars for customer service. I can't think of another company with worse service. My husband before being hospitalized purchased a very large very expensive sediment filter from US Water Systems with a 1 micron filter. We had used their equipment at every house we owned prior to coming to North Carolina be it reverse osmosis to water softeners and the US Water equipment was hands down the best. So when we came to help my elderly parents when my dad was injured and subsequently developed dementia we knew there would be a lot of things to do at their home. My husband had planned to install the sediment filter using Sharkbite fittings something I wasn't familiar with but he told me we're top of the line. So we had all the equipment ready to go when my husband got ill. Fast forward and my husband is no longer with us and I still have to help work out the problems at my 84 year old mothers home. I had used Ohmstead Plumbing for minor things previously with no problem so when they were out for a new leak I asked the tech if they could install this sediment filter even though it wasn't theirs and he said he would ask his boss and let me know how much and the earliest date they could do the work. He came back to me shortly and said good news, they could install it and he gave me a price of $704.00 which included fixing the leak in the sink. I said great let's do it. A couple of hours later he comes in, says the work is complete and I pay him. At first it looked as if the filter was working but a few days ago I noticed what looked like sediment but thought surely not, with a 1 micron filter. But this morning when filling the coffee pot it was clearly filled with sediment so I contacted Ohmstead. They sent a tech and meanwhile I called US Water who has great customer service and they emailed me a manual on my unit. I gave it to the tech. Eventually the tech comes back, says the filter is working and he doesn't know maybe the hot water heater needs flushing or the toilets, etc. and have a nice day. I said can you please call your boss because I paid for this to be installed and would really like it to work. He did but he didn't want to offer anything else. I called and spoke to the manager Brian and he actually argued with me, his customer, talked over me, and down to me and kept saying you just asked us to install it and we did that. I said you're kidding right I mean it was mind blowing. His position was I asked for it to be installed, they did that and I should be happy with that. I'm basically being penalized because I didn't know what questions to ask being a girl, and when I asked why wouldn't your tech say you could still have sediment unless you flush your water heater and you still might have it unless you replace the water heater because then I could have made a more informed decision and perhaps elected to do one or the other. His response was so fundamentally idiotic, and condescending ""Ma'am if we had to do that our techs would be at your property for ten weeks telling you things''. Seriously this is what he said, it's just crazy. Let me wrap this up by saying if you need a leak fixed you might be okay with them, and the techs were friendly and nice but if you need ANY customer service or if you need something complex or if you don't know to ask the right questions, DO NOT USE OHMSTEAD PLUMBING. They have no trouble taking your money but will not, absolutely will not stand by their work, or their word. WORST customer service I've ever experienced anywhere I've lived.

I hear they are good plumbers. I can only assume because we set an appointment for them to come in and do a couple things, change my outside spigots because theyre starting to leak, and a couple other non-emergency things. We set an appointment, I took off early from work, but a no show. No call no nothing. I don't give companies that do that a second chance.

Warning to anyone looking for a good plumber in or around Rutherford County, do NOT go through Ohmstead Plumbing. We have given them over a month to fix their mistake and they are still denying that they have done anything wrong. We had an issue with one of our bathrooms. We called around and got quotes. They weren't the cheapest, but we had used them recently for a busted pipe outside and they did a great job, so we decided to go with them. When the two men got here, they quoted us the same price as on the phone. They started working, then said that they would have to do something extra, and it would cost extra money. I specifically asked the man if they did this and we paid the extra price if this would fix everything(the sink, tub, and toilet). He said ""Yes"" it would take care of everything, so we agreed to let them do it. When they left they said that the sink and tub were still not working properly, but they had put some stuff in them that should fix it in less than an hour. And if it didn't to call and let them know and they would come out and fix it. Well it didn't, and we called them back and they refused to fix it for free. They told us it would cost almost $400 more to come out and fix the two things that should have been fixed in the first place. My husband and I have been trying to contact them for over a month, but somehow the owner is never there. Finally got to talk to someone this morning, and they were pretty much telling us that no one told us that would fix everything( that what we were saying was just a game of ""he said, she said"") and that they were here for over two hours working, when we know for a fact they were not. The man this morning was so very rude to my husband. They need to work on their customer service skills as well as other things. After talking to others about this, we have heard similar stories about this company, yet could not find many bad reviews online. This is why I am putting this out there, so others will be cautious.
