Like most people, I do not have money to waste. When my water heater started to leak, it was a huge decision who to trust with my hard earned money to replace it.

After taking the time to read reviews, I narrowed it down to 3 of the top service providers, Ohio Water Heaters being one.

When I called, Tammy answered and she was polite, professional and gave me a quote for a new water heater over the phone. After getting other quotes all within similar range, Tammy's gracious attitude was the main reason I called back to schedule with Ohio Water Heaters. Tammy got me scheduled for the following morning.

Jordan and Andrew showed up super promptly. After showing Jordan the water heater to be replaced, we discussed my 1952 built house. I explained that all repairs were replacing the cheapest possible patch jobs from the previous owners.

Jordan asked if it would be ok with me if he and Andrew moved the shoddy (my word, not Jordan's) connections and tidied everything up. Of course I agreed. Jordan and Andrew could have easily done the least and kept all the vent and pipe connections as is, but they wanted to do it right.

The new water heater and connections look professional now, elegant even, not the hack job it was before. The extra work Jordan and Andrew took upon themselves didn't cost me a penny more than the quote I received.

Bottom line, Ohio Water Heaters' price is the same as the other guys, but Ohio Water Heaters are masters of the craft. The efficiency, courtesy, pride in their work and value for my money made this choice one of my all time greats.

I needed hot & cold water piped from basement to enclosed porch. House is over 100yrs. old. I had no idea how that could be done, but OWH did exactly what I wanted and needed. Chris (OWH) was right on the job. He figured out how it could be done. I wanted my washing machine on porch from the basement.. Also, needed drain hooked up. Chris and Garrett were here today and did an excellent job. I'm so happy,, now I can do all my laundry up here. (My dryer was on porch already). Our hot water tank was at least 18 years old so when we started to notice that we were running out of hot water we knew it was time to replace it. After discussing our choices we decided to go with a hybrid hot water tank. Yes, it was more expensive. It is supposed to be more efficient and there is a tax rebate.
I got a text saying they would be there between 7 and 9 am; they were there by 7.
It took just over two hours to install. They cleaned up and the tank works great. Too soon to tell if it is saving me money. I am looking forward to the tax credit on next years tax return. We have plenty of hot water now.
I would use them again.

Water leak sensor detected flooding from my 18 year old water heater at about 11:30pm on a Wednesday night. Called Ohio Water Heaters and they had a new water heater on site and installed by 10am the following morning.

Sit back and relax and let me tell you about the absolutely amazing experience I had with the amazing people behind Ohio Water Heaters (OWH).

Once upon a time my tankless water heater stopped working and I searched the world of Columbus over for quotes on a new heater. I needed a company with flexibility with a flare of tech savvy and virtual visit options. I filled out contact form after contact form and was told pictures weren't enough and someone would have to come onsite.

Until I connected with Mike of OWH.

Words can't describe how incredible my experience has been with OWH. I sent Mike a picture of my current set up and confidently talked through my options. I wanted to virtually show him the space and we were able to swiftly move to a video call. Mike understood my needs and made an excellent project recommendation. Setting up the appointment was a breeze and I LOVE that OWH has a dedicated client website and utilizes text reminders for the appointment and to notify you of when your tech(s) are on the way.

Austin and Chris were assigned to me job and are great! They answered my billions of questions with style and grace.

The checkout process was fantastic as well. I was impressed to see that they use an iPad checkout process. I immediately received an invoice that included details on my warranties. Bonus - I didn't have to register my product; Mike did it all for me!

Choosing OWH to help me with my water heating (and some light plumbing) needs was a slam dunk win decision!

We had a failing heat pump water heater that needed replacement. Ohio Water Heaters is one of the companies we contacted for an opinion and quote, and we ended up going with them when we found out they had great familiarity with this type of water heater. I am not a water heater expert (ha), but it is my understanding that the heat pump is a more recent addition, relatively speaking, to water heater technology, so it was nice to find folks who were comfortable and well versed with them. They were also great to work with. To my complete awe, only one person showed up and both hauled the heavy old one up the stairs and out, and then took the heavy new one right back down. Very impressive. The work was great, and they handled disposal of the old one (heat pump water heaters can't be put out on the curb like traditional ones).

Scheduling and communication was excellent, and they showed up in the window we had been provided, with a call ahead of time that they were on the way.

And, we're very happy with the new water heater so far, which is working well!
