The tech that came out to do a yearly check on my a/c said I needed a whole new system for $10,000. I got a second opinion, I didn't need a new system, just an honest company. The OHA tech took pictures and one picture was a melted wire that turned out to be a fire hazard and the guy just left it there. The new company cleaned my system for $358 and repaired the fire hazard, THANK GOD. They said they would rather have a long lasting customer than an angry customer. OHA knew when I said I was getting a second opinion that I would find out about their scam.

made a visit for second opinion and proved to my satisfaction the system was in good health and did not need the work the first company proposed. Will be calling on this company again.

This company is a scam when it comes to gas fireplace repair.

* October, 2024: Our gas fireplace was in working order and was used daily over the course of a month. However, because we recently moved into our house, we decided to retain OHA Home Services (""OHA"") to clean and service the fireplace for annual maintenance purposes.

* 11/01/2024: OHA sent a technician to our home to clean and service the fireplace. We were invoiced $290 for the services and paid the invoice.

* 11/02/2024: We attempted to use our fireplace, but it kept shutting off. I contacted OHA to advise them of the issue.

* 11/04/2024: OHA technician sent the technician back to our home to inspect the fireplace. The technician got the fireplace working properly for 15 minutes but could not determine the cause of the problem. OHA did not charge us for this visit. OHA did provide a zero-balance invoice on which the technician stated: ""If problem persists with batteries installed then I would suggest replacement of the ignition control module"". Notably, during this visit the technician did not inspect the pilot assembly as evidenced by the invoice. In the days that followed the problem persisted and we once again contacted OHA.

* 11/10/2024: OHA sent a different technician to our home. This technician checked the wiring underneath the fireplace, but did not inspect the pilot assembly. At the conclusion of his inspection, the technician advised that we should replace the ignition control module. Not knowing anything about gas fireplaced, we authorized replacement. The part had to be ordered so we were without a fireplace for the remainer of November, all of December and into January.

* 01/17/2025: OHA sent the technician who visited on November 10th, to replace the ignition control module. OHA invoiced us $415.22 and we promptly paid the invoice. However, when we attempted to use the fireplace after the technician's departure it continued to shut off. I contacted OHA yet again to advise of the problem.

* 01/27/2025: OHA sent yet a third technician (name unknown) to diagnose the problem. This technician did not inspect the fireplace but merely looked at the history of invoices and paperwork from prior visits. At the end of the visit the technician advised that we would need an Intermittent Pilot System Rebuild Kit for a total cost of $1,952.00. No longer trusting OHA, I retained a different service provider to diagnose the problem.

* 02/08/2025: A service technician from a different company inspected our fireplace and advised that we would need a new pilot assembly. He advised that there was likely nothing wrong with the original ignition control module and that a new pilot assembly would fix the problem. We paid the new technician ~$500 to install a new pilot assembly and the fireplace has worked ever since.

I reached out to OHA several times in an attempt to resolve my complaint and NEVER received a call back. My complaint is now pending with the Better Business Bureau. Of course, OHA has yet to respond.

I hired OHA to install a new water heater. To access the water heater, the HVAC had to be partially uninstalled and then reinstalled. Kevin, HVAC tech worked with Angel from OHA plumbing to get the job done properly. Very professional and helpful. Another plus is that someone always answers the phone and all are very helpful. Thanks OHA !

I used a highly rated company (C1) found on Yelp in the spring to turn on my boiler. They couldn't. They told me that I had to have the gas company to turn the gas on. They also charged me for cleaning. When the heating season came, I had the gas turned on, I called C1 again to get my boiler turned on. They still couldn't bug quitedc me to replace both valves for $4k or get a new boiler for $8500.

OHA was the second company came to give me a diagnostic. Mr Bryan discovered that the water pipes were completely empty and found a spot on the radiator where the pipes were disconnected. No wonder the boiler won't turn on! However, OHA doesn't repair radiator pipes so he left me this valuable information without charging me a penny!

I found a 3rd company came to repair the valves and saved thousands from the 1st company. Forever thankful for Mr Bryan!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Mistakes happen, but the way companies respond is what matters. And OHA's responses were completely disappointing and frustrating.

The tech misdiagnosed our HVAC issue so we had to call them back in a few days after paying over $800 for a ""repair"". The tech acknowledged that it was his mistake and that we needed a new part instead. The tech said we would be refunded for the mistake. We were told they ordered the part but after I called their office multiple times and escalated to customer service, found out they never ordered the part - over a week later.

Decided to go with another company due to the bad customer service. Asked for a refund since they did not fix the issue. Waited over a week with multiple follow ups to find out this was escalated to the owners and they declined our refund. With no clear reason why. Completely disappointing and terrible customer experience. Not to mention we were weeks without a fully functioning AC in a summer heatwave.

In the meantime, our new company diagnosed the issue, ordered the part and installed the part/ fixed our AC - all in 5 business days. Such a better experience.

Travis was extremely professional and helpful when he came out to service our house. He took the time to do amazing work while educating us on how to properly maintain our plumbing. The cost was well worth it for what we received! Top service!

The HVAC Tech arrived on time. Quickly diagnose the problem and provide 2 solutions. Purchased new HVAC System. Tech came on Tuesday and the new unit was in the following Monday within 6 hours. Tech had three possible choices and explained in detail the differences in each as well as pricing. The crew was meticulous in their cleanup and provided answers to all questions.

I needed to have my clothes dryer exhaust vents cleaned of lint. My HVAC provider did not offer this service. After shopping around, the OHA Home Service offer provided the greatest value. The service rep was prompt, professional, and did a thorough job. I am very satisfied and will use them again.
