Well, just two days after writing this review, our entire home's drain system backed up. I had Emergency Plumbing & Solar snake my pipes about a month and a half ago and it was backing up again. Not willing to pay the same prices I paid EP&S the last time, I called my new favorite plumber, Ogami Plumbing. One of their guys stopped by in the late afternoon and started snaking our pipes. After about half an hour, he told us the clog was deeper than he could reach so he called Billy Ogami to switch off with him because Billy had a longer snake. Billy soon arrived and took over. He worked on the pipes for about an hour and got them cleared. He said he went in about 90 ft, basically to the main lines out under the street so whatever was in there was completely cleared. He said he felt resistance along the way so kept at it to make sure everything was pushed out to the street. Billy did a much more thorough job than EP&S and his cost was half what EP&S charged me.

After having my mother getting ripped off from Roto Rooter, I was hesitant on which plumber to call for work on my house. I was referred to Ogami Plumbing from another plumber I called (they couldn't do my job right away). Luckily for me my job was small and they could squeeze me in between jobs. They were very nice about the entire process gave me an estimated time when they would come, called when they were on their way to let me know. Came to my house and took care of the stuck drain in no time. They were careful to put down rags to ensure the area they were working was clean and cleaned the sink area and ensured the clog was completely free. The person that came to work on my house was friendly and professional. Highly recommend this company.

We found out from a big, well-known plumbing company that our drainage was slow because the sewer line needs descaling. They quoted us an outrageous price...said we'll think about it. A friend recommended Ogami Plumbing. I called them and they quoted a per hour price and thought it was reasonable so we scheduled an appointment. They descaled maybe half way but the blockage was bad so they said jetting needs to be done to remove the scales. They came back a week and a half later. They had to dig our concrete driveway where the clean out was, modify and process the jetting. They did a great job to clear the sewer line and we still paid less than what we would've paid the other big company for just the descaling.

Bill, Brad and their crew have always been prompt and professional and we have never needed them to come back to fix something a second time. Very fair pricing.

I live in a 40+ year old high rise in Hawaii-kai. Recently, my 40+ year old bath tub became stuck. It would not drain no matter what chemical City Mill sold me. Based on some condo recommendations, I contacted Ogami Plumbing and the very next day two plumbers came and removed and replaced an extremely deteriorated drain access plate and valve. 2hours later, I was taking a shower with draining water. Great service!

I had an appointment with Ogami Plumbing for my clogged kitchen drain at 3:30-4 pm today. They never showed up and didn't even call me to let me know they were not showing up! For a supposedly 'Mom & Pop' operation, that is not nice at all and a bad way of doing business, especially on a small island where word gets around. So be forewarned, people-don't call Ogami Plumbing unless you like being stood up and not kept in the loop. If I could give a negative star rating, I would for Ogami Plumbing!

So my main sewer drain has always had a blockage since I can remember being at this property. Every year or so, the sewer backs up and we call Roto Rooter to open it with the longest snake they had. So the clog occurred again so this time I tried to call a local plumber. I called Ogami Plumbing and Billy came out the next morning. He was able to retrieve the blockage (white roots like a birds nest) and really researched with his plumbing camera the pipes and found the problem location. On another day, his nephew and a worker drilled down to the pipe to find a puncture from an awful looking root. Trees are an amazing force of nature. So happy Billy continued with this challenge of this new house over an old house plumbing situation. So far so good.

Ogami came to my place on two different occasions and each time they solved my problem and did a great job. Friendly guys - I don't remember this one guy's name but he didn't give up on my clogged sink (even though it must've been frustrating) and did it with a great attitude! They give a general time frame when they will arrive and I would stay true to that. They are good with being in contact with you if they are running late. I would definitely recommend them.

He was fantastic, so knowledgeable and very kind. He fixed our garbage disposal no problem, helped turn down our water heater and explained what was going on so we could learn. BEST in town you have to go with Ogami!!!
