I have been calling electricians to come to my dental office in Long Island for a few months without success. I would not even so much as get a call back. Then I heard about Ocean Electric and called their number. The receptionist was very friendly and informed me that Steve would call me back. He called me within 20 minutes and scheduled to come to my office. He came in and was not only extremely knowledgeable but also wanted to impart that knowledge on me so I would be able to save a few bucks in the future and have the best long term products. He was able to identify and fix all my electrical needs (multiple things) within an hour or so. Steve is a truly gifted electrician and a down to earth guy. If you need someone reliable look no further. Steve and Ocean Electric have my highest recommendation.

I had such a great experience! It's so hard to find nowadays! During Super Bowl Sunday my husband and I some how blew out the breaker in the kitchen. We found Ocean Electric on yelp and because of the reviews we decided to call. I immediately received a call back from Steve after leaving a message. He showed up the next day ready to figure out the problem. He had to replace the breaker which he diagnosed and replaced in no time!! Super professional and a pleasure. I will be calling back soon!! Steve Krupka is a true professional and perfectionist as an electrician! He came the same day I called and took immediate interest in diagnosing a strange electrical situation in my condo that was causing me to not have heat in my bedroom at the beginning of 10 sub 30 degree days. By searching and intelligent questioning we were able to diagnose that former owner was in the alarm business and the way he wired things was causing the issue.

Once he determined the source of the issue he immediately jumped into resolving the problem very quickly and completely.

Steve reminds me of my dad in the manner of being a perfectionist for his customers and has so much experience and knowledge, but takes the time to explain to you the ""how"" and ""why"" so you know why he did what he did to fix the issue. Allows you to feel confident that the issue is truly resolved and just a fine gentleman who honors his craft.

Steve Krupka is not only an extremely skilled (licensed & insured) electrician, but is also a true perfectionist.

He installed a new fuse box, as well as several ceiling fans in our apartment.

He had to snake electrical wires through the ceiling for the fans. He cut the ceiling so the holes were not immediately visible and could be easily patched. He worked efficiently and neatly, cleaning up as he went along.

I HIGHLY recommend Ocean Electric!

We plan on using their plumbing services soon, as well.

I needed an electrician because every time my upstairs central vacuum outlet was used, a circuit breaker controlling the electric to one downstairs bedroom was tripped. I first called the electrical contractor who replaced all my wiring after super storm Sandy. After two weeks of delay, I checked Yelp and BBB for an electrician and found Ocean Electric. I called Ocean Electric, got their answering service and received a return call from Steve within 30 minutes; since he finished with a previous job early, he came by my home; all this happened within 90 minutes of my initial phone call. On the phone Steve explained their pricing policy. He came over, listened carefully to my electrical problem, diagnosed the problem and traced the problem to a faulty central vacuum hose rather than a costly repair to the central vac outlet and/or the main circuit breaker box. Steve is one of three brothers, each covering a different aspect of home repair [heating, plumbing and electrical]. Because of Steve's professionalism, they will be my go-to guys.

My wife and I recently bought a home in Oceanside that was built in 1954 and are gutting and renovating it. What Steve and I thought would be two days worth of little projects, like installing over head lights and moving switches, turned into a five day mission.
