This is an addendum to our previous review of OC Repipes posted earlier. The Village on Oak Repiping Project was large, complicated, and required people skills, organizational logistics and expertise. It involved 174 units which consisted of 6 different floor plans and work scheduled in 5 phases that began September 2019 and will end sometime in March 2020. That said, Andy Borisov and his OC Repiping teams (Repiping, Repair, Painting), each were accommodating and knowledgeable in a specific floor plan. As a result, OC Repipes were able to complete beyond satisfactory work. I even had the occasion to contact Andy 6 weeks after work completion and he responded immediately with the same considerate understanding. That's worth it's weight in gold. OC Repipes is definitely a Go-To-Company we highly recommend when it comes to repiping, no matter the size of the job!

This is one of those reviews where I wish zero was an option. These guys were subcontracted out to work on my HOA during a repipe project that started in July and finished up in early November. My unit was worked on from late August into early September 2019, but if you read on, you'll see I am still dealing with the ramifications.

Personally I wouldn't let a single one of these people near my house again. My baseboards in everyone of my bathrooms was destroyed near the toilet. Some were chipped beyond repair, so now I have to save up money to buy new baseboards, and to pay for someone to come fix them because that skill is beyond my minuscule handyman abilities. The cuts behind the toilets were also large. The debris they left in every room of my house was absolutely unbelievable. To this day, I am finding debris in random places even though I have vacuumed countless times.

My washer/dyer was put back crooked, and I had to wait several days for them to come out and fix it. I realize this may seem like a small complaint but I had just had surgery and couldn't lift anything. Also, if they are hired to do a job, why not do it right the first time?

They also messed with my shower pressure, and they had to come back to fix my shower head that was working before the repipe process started. I had to hire a plumber to come and make the water pressure right and test all the lines.

The cuts in the shower where they cut into the tile were also very obvious, so I'm hoping that this aesthetic doesn't damage my houses' value when I go to resell.

They knocked a burner knob off my stove, which I actually wouldn't have known about except for JJ said something about ""we broke it and had to buy a new one"" in a passing remark as he was about to leave my house.

They broke my dishwasher latch that was not broken before the repipe process started. Again, I couldn't use my dishwasher for about a week until they got the part and had someone out to fix it.

Perhaps the worst thing they did was leave stucco and debris that still to this day, five months after the job, is stuck to my balcony.

I will say that after all the screw ups, JJ came back and fixed some things that were messed up. He tried to get the stucco off my balcony and couldn't get most of it, but he did get some. He was at my house for a while trying to figure out the dishwasher, and I know he is not an appliance repair man. He also came back by order of the management company, Ross Construction (who should quit the construction game and immediately begin a career in snake oil salesmanship, they'd do a far better job) and fixed things that other contractors screwed up such as shoddy paint work and spills. I know JJ had to be the workhorse for Ross in other units, so, my anger with him as a the man in charge aside (I am unsure if he was the official foreman), I saw him work his fingers to the bone in many units in my area.

I understand that this past summer was particularly brutal and they were working in units that may have not had AC or the power was turned off for part of the day and it was hot. I understand they were under a lot of pressure to finish a lot of units in a timely manner, but, if as a company you don't have the manpower, skill, or care to do a job of that size, defer to someone who can.

Came in and did a great job, and made the effort to make sure we were completely satisfied with the job, and even went above and beyond to do repairs that weren't in the scope of the original work. Would easily recommend and be happy to work with the company again.

Pnor to the repiping, Andy took the time to carefully explain the repiping process- the preparation,, the work to be done and the timeline. The work was seamlessly done and the finished product was as good as new; all areas of repiping was unnoticeable. Andy meticulously did the final inspection to ensure all aspects of their work was done well and that I was completely satisfied in their work. It was clear that Andy took pride in their work.

We had to have our whole place repiped due to bad pipes put in by the builder. I was very anxious about the whole process and what it would do to our house. Let me tell you this place is amazing and clean through the whole process. The owner, Andy is hands on and as hard working as his employees. This company is fabulous. They do excellent work for a good price, with quality products and courteous, hardworking people. I highly recommend them. The owner, Andy, is committed to his customers and focused on being a prime repiping company in Orange County. The project manager, Slavi, is very dependable, precise in what he does, and conscientious. Slavi and the others working at our house arrived each day at 8:00. They each seemed to have a task to do the minute they arrived and this continued throughout the day. They covered all the furniture and floors with drop clothes while they worked and at the end of each day vacuumed and cleaned up before leaving. When you have your house repiped, you wonder how it is ever going to look normal again. Our house is back to normal and looks brand new. OC Repipes work is perfection (the Pex product they use, the areas in the wall cut for piping, the dry wall finish, and the painting). I was referred to this company by a friend who is a Director on a Homeowner's Association. This Homeowners Association will be using OC Repipe to do repiping of condominiums. You should definitely select this company to do the repiping of your home. Unlike some companies, OC Repipe does the entire project including repairing the drywall, texturing and painting.

After 3 slab leaks in 4 years on my 25 yr old home, I decided it was time to take out my failing copper pipes. I researched both Copper and Pex and was undecided. I was initially leary of pex because of com-5ments about leaking crimps and rodents eating through the pex. I reached out to 4-5 repipe companies and two got back to me. Slavi was able to visit the next day. After talking with him, he reassured me about Pex A and I did like the Uponor fittings as opposed to the crimping used on pex B. I really wanted to go with Slavi because of the Uponor and the perfect 5* Yelp reviews, and was hoping his quote would be reasonable. Slavi got me the quote the next day and it was within my budget so I accepted the offer on the spot (prior to even talking to the 2nd company). The work took 2 days and the workers were on time and worked to 8:00pm on the second day to be sure and finish up my 3 bath 2900sqft home. The owner Andy stopped by the 2nd day to introduce himself, and Slavi pitched in and helped finish up the drywall repair which I was very happy with. I even had them replace my 25 year old sink and shower fixtures which were in bad shape and very difficult to remove due to the lime build up. They stuck with it and got it done, when they could have told me it was taking to much time, and not done it. This team is new in Orange County so they don't have alot of reviews yet, but their work is great and their price is very reasonable and fair. Do yourself a favor and pick up the phone and hire OC Repipes to do a great repipe for your home. Oh and they also insulated all the pex in the walls and attic, which helped allay my fears of rodents.

Read a lot of reviews before asking for several quotes from various companies. Slavi came out for the initial quote and was the supervisor of the entire job. While other companies send out Salesmen to quote who did not point out or knew specifics of the installation. They do not subcontract which was important to me and were a bit lower in price made my decision easy. Was surprised to see how small of holes they made and the drywall patching was superb. Cannot even tell where they cut. Would recommend to anyone thinking of getting PEX pipe.
