I had a clogged drain in our kitchen sink and went to Yelp to request quotes from several different plumbers. I was quoted some pretty ridiculous pricing from other companies, but OC Piping ended up being the most reasonably priced. He wasn't available to come the same day (I called at 7pm), which I was okay with because it wasn't a dire emergency, and we confirmed a time for the following day.

He was in and out within 15 minutes. He made sure I was happy with the result before he left, taking the time to wait and test out how the drain was working (after a day of looking at a clogged sink, seeing that water get sucked down into the drain was glorious).

Good pricing, quick service, honest and professional. I highly recommend Joe!

I had an ongoing minor but annoying issue with my toilet tank repeatedly emptying and refilling. So Friday evening I called several plumbers from Yelp and Joe was the first one to call back. He came by yesterday and immediately diagnosed the cause of the problem. Unfortunately he didn't have the correct part to do the repair in his truck so had to come back this morning... the second time on a weekend! The repair took no time at all. Through the whole process, Joe was efficient, professional and texted or called with updates. Highly recommended.

Joe was responsive once him and I got connected for the job I was looking for him to do. It was a shower knob leak that needed the entire valve inside replaced. He came next day exactly within the time window he said he would arrive. Did the job properly and so far the work he has done is holding up. He said to let him know if it leaks within the next few days and they'll come back to fix whatever is needed. Parts and labor were reasonable...

If you're looking for a plumber currently...stop. Just stop looking and hire Joe. Trust me when I say I've experienced your fair share of NY hiccups when it comes to incompetence despite raving yelp reviews. Joe was none of those things. He's an A+ guy and super sweet and communicative. He never over-promised and was honest about his expectations. He and his co-worker worked thoroughly in the blazing heat to fix my toilet as well as remove and install a new sink. The floors in my loft are extremely un-leveled and they insured the sink looked perfect to the eye without me babysitting. I just left them alone to do their thing and they finished up and I had no complaints. I'm pretty particular tbh and it's hard to please my eye so I write this review because hopefully it helps someone else trying to figure out who to hire. I want to also add that they took out an old air conditioning unit for me which was heavy as sh*t without charging me extra. Super cool guys. Just saying. Stop messing around and hire them already. Thank me later.

We had a plumbing emergency in the late afternoon today - nothing major, just a blocked bathtub drain in the only bathtub in the apartment! We knew it was a simple repair, but since we don't have a snake, we couldn't do it ourselves. We found several plumbers on Yelp and reached out to all of them. Joe got back to us first and even though he was about to leave to go home for the day, he came straight to us instead and had the problem solved lickety-split. He was professional, prompt, and his price was fair, given the emergency nature of our call. Thanks, Joe! We'll keep your number on file, for sure, but hope we don't have to call an emergency plumber again too soon!

Early this morning I woke up to the sound of water dripping and excessive force of water coming out of my bathroom I looked and it was coming out of my toilet and flooding my beautiful apartment that i just got done re doing. The bathroom sink was also backed up and clogged to the very top. I called a few plumbers and they gave me a outrageous quote on how much it would be to fix it. As I was going down the list of plumbers I ran into OC Piping Service and let me tell you these guys are fast, reasonably priced and very professional they assured me they can stop the flooding and make sure it does not happen again and if it does to call them and they would be back no problem. They went into my basement and snaked something called a house trap apparently the waste line going back towards my home was badly clogged. They unclogged it, thank God and also ran the snake in our bathroom sink waste line that was PVC pipe. If it wasn't for OC Piping Service coming from Brooklyn New York I would have had to pay a arm and a leg for repairs. I recommend all Yelp users who need Plumbing work done to call these guys. You wont be disappointed.
