Had an clog emergency and these guys had the most availability to show up same-day. They assessed the situation, dealt with the blockage, and were very thorough in attempting to ensure that the problem had been fixed for good. Unfortunately, the root problem turned out to be beyond our control (something to do with the building's water pressure), but they really made a good faith effort to figure it out and gave me some suggestions for what to ask the building's management for.

Fast, responsive, and cleaned up after themselves very well.

Called this service for a hot water heater that wouldn't turn on. Came on a Saturday evening (seriously who comes on Saturday evening?) and fixed it within minutes. Also showed me how to do it myself the next time. Joe was terrific. Highly recommend.

Awesome service. Said it was going to be minimum of $100 but did work on our shower and kitchen sink and charged $180 for about an hour of his time (due to heavy blockages in the sink). We felt it was a fair deal and he was super professional and reliable. Would definitely call again.

At 9 PM on a Sunday night, I tried several plumbers for an urgent flooding issue without much success. Many of the ""24/7"" plumbers listed on Yelp near me didn't answer their phones (and none of them even return my VM the next day).

The first company that did answer were jerks and clearly either didn't know how to talk to potential customers and/or were taking advantage of my emergency. Despite needing urgent assistance, I decided not to give them my business and hung up on them.

Fortunately, Joe and OC Piping & Heating answered the phone that night. After telling Joe about my problem, they were understanding and honest about the potential problems. They said they could come out immediately to look at it.

Joe and Omar arrived about an hour later from Brooklyn (I'm in the Lower Manhattan), diagnosed the issue, assured that no more water would be coming out, would return the following morning to rectify my flooding problem and charged a fraction of what the one company quoted for an emergency service call.

They were in and out in 15 minutes, but the peace of mind Joe and Omar brought was worth triple what they charged They came back the next morning and brought the necessary tools and parts to fix the issue. All this in a couple hours time.

Most importantly, Joe was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. We've all had to deal with electricians, auto body shops, and other specialized services where we don't know what to expect. Having trust is your provider is huge. In that, I can't recommend OC Piping and Heating enough. They weren't just nice, but reasonably-priced and trustworthy.

We taped their business card up on the fridge. No doubt if we needed any plumbing or heating work done in the future, we'll be calling back. Thanks Joe and Omar!

The gentlemen from OC Piping were a pleasure to work with. I returned home from a week away to find my hot water heater not working. After speaking to nearly 30 contractors who were booked until Tuesday/don't work in Manhattan/don't do tankless heaters/don't work Saturdays/etc., I finally found OC Piping.
Their owner answered right away and was at my home within 45minutes on a Saturday morning, coming in from Brooklyn. After diagnosing the issue on Saturday (which involved cutting out some cabinetry and testing a few different components of my unit), we determined I needed a new unit. His supplier didn't have what I needed in stock, but he waited while I called around to other suppliers (thanks, Yelp!) and found Kevin & Richard Plumbing and Heating, which is open 24hrs and had my unit in stock. OC Piping picked up the purchase on Saturday evening and installed on Sunday.
Service was great--the guys did a neat job, arrived on time, and called me to let me know when they were on their way. They removed my old unit and I now have hot water. Thank you both!!

Needed a basic repair in my bathroom and multiple companies gave me outrageous prices. Unfortunately I did not feel comfortable doing it myself so I was recommended OC Piping. I can't say enough how honest these guys are and how quick they completed my repair. Definitely would highly recommend them to anyone that is in need of their service.
