Company Overview

As a licensed and insured fourth generation family-run plumbing, heating, and fire protection solutions company, we have been serving our community since 1985. We handle domestic, commercial, educational, and manufacturing tasks, including minor jobs to full installations, sewer cleaning, heating units and measurement devices, gas, boiler and leak detection, back flow device installations and testing.

My late grandfather, Louis, founded the business with my late grandmother, Ida, in their home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in 1926. My late father, Irwin, would return from school, don his work attire, and work alongside my grandfather. In 1961, he obtained his license. At 16, I, Jay Friedman, started working with my father during the summer. I went full-time at 19, got my Oasis Plumbers license at 24, and took charge of the company in 1987. Now, I am joined by my son, Brandon, who is training to become the 4th generation Master Plumber. We aim to turn your plumbing dreams into reality!

I was born in 1963 and entered the family business full-time at the age of 19. After graduating from The Mechanics Institute in 1983, I pursued further training at Plumbers Local 1, graduating in the top 4 of my class in 1988. I started a third program to get ready for my NYC Master Plumbers License, which I earned in 1992. In 1995, I acquired my NYC Fire Suppression License. After my late father, Irwin Friedman, passed away in 1998, I managed the business independently until 2012, when my son, Brandon Friedman, joined me to prepare for the fourth generation.
