Company Overview

As a certified and protected fourth generation family-run plumbing, heating, and fire protection service company, we have been serving our community since 1985. We handle residential, business, educational, and factory tasks, covering small jobs to complete installations, sewer maintenance, heating units and gauges, gas, steam and pipe leaks, RPZ device setups and testing.

My late grandfather, Louis, founded the business with my late grandmother, Ida, in their home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in 1926. My late father, Irwin, would come home from school, change into his work clothes, and assist my grandfather. In 1961, he obtained his license. I, Jay Friedman, began working with my father during summers at 16. I transitioned to full-time work at 19, received my Oasis Plumbers license at 24, and took over the company in 1987. My son, Brandon, is now with me, getting ready to become the 4th generation Master Plumber. We aim to turn your plumbing dreams into reality!

Born in 1963, I joined the family business full-time at 19. I graduated from The Mechanics Institute in 1983 and continued my education at Plumbers Local 1, where I finished in the top 4 of my class in 1988. I then enrolled in a third school to prepare for my NYC Master Plumbers License, which I obtained in 1992. I received my NYC Fire Suppression License in 1995. Following the passing of my late father, Irwin Friedman, in 1998, I ran the business on my own until 2012, when my son, Brandon Friedman, came on board to prepare for the fourth generation.
