Company Overview

Since 1985, we have been a licensed and insured fourth generation family-operated plumbing, heating, and fire protection service provider. We handle domestic, corporate, institutional, and manufacturing jobs, covering simple tasks to complete installations, sewer maintenance, hot water systems and measurement devices, propane, boiler and leak detection, back flow device setups and inspections.

My late grandfather, Louis, founded the business with my late grandmother, Ida, in their home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in 1926. My late father, Irwin, would return from school, don his work attire, and work alongside my grandfather. In 1961, he obtained his license. At 16, I, Jay Friedman, started working with my father during the summer. I transitioned to full-time work at 19, received my Oasis Plumbers license at 24, and took over the company in 1987. I am now accompanied by my son, Brandon, who is preparing to be the fourth generation Master Plumber. We strive to make your plumbing aspirations a reality!

In 1963, I was born and began working full-time in the family business at 19. I graduated from The Mechanics Institute in 1983 and continued my education at Plumbers Local 1, where I finished in the top 4 of my class in 1988. I then enrolled in a third school to prepare for my NYC Master Plumbers License, which I obtained in 1992. In 1995, I acquired my NYC Fire Suppression License. After my late father, Irwin Friedman, passed away in 1998, I managed the business independently until 2012, when my son, Brandon Friedman, joined me to prepare for the fourth generation.
