Jose Moreno was outstanding! He came wearing a mask and immediately put on footwear booties before he entered my home. I had a nasty sewage situation where raw sewage was percolating up through my shower drain. He came prepared and explained in detail what he was going to do. He had the drain working in no time. This plumbing company is awesome! They came to replace our toilet the next day when we called them.
They flushed our tankless water heater, and being very honest that, given the age of it, flushing it with all the proper 'fluids' might cause it to leak and warrant replacement. Since there were no real problems with it, we opted to simply flush it out and not use any other 'chemicals' (vinegar based).
Installed our under-the-sink water filter perfectly.
Other plumbers have been flaky and unreliable. Oakland Rooters are perhaps not the cheapest, but boy, are they worth it.
Skilled, qualified, reliable and they follow up if there's an issue.
5 stars is the highest I can give.

Our favorite plumbers (Thanks, Fernando!!) Scheduling is quick and easy, they showed up on time, worked cleanly and quickly. They snaked our shower and 3 sinks, remedied the clogs, and were in and out in less than hour. This is the 3rd time we have used them over the past several years.

After contacting two other highly rated companies on Yelp and not receiving a call-back I gave Oakland Rooter a call. Jose was out within two hours and provided a reasonable estimate on the spot to replace an underground leaking water pipe. When he showed up to do the work, he informed me that the worker who was supposed to help called in sick. I asked if he wanted to postpone since the work included saw cutting and trenching concrete to replace the line. He said no and did the entire job himself in one day, including re-pouring the concrete.

Jose from Oakland Rooter was the FIFTH plumber I spoke to and the ONLY one that came up with the most efficient and cost savings solution than the previous four plumbers. The job was to replace an old clay sewer line that had been collapsed for who knows how long. Don't call Roto Rooter--that was my first mistake. I'm impressed with Jose's knowledge and know how. He nows how to think outside the box for the sake of efficiency, not to up-charge. Its generally recommended to get three bids and I intended to however when one completes a Yelp request one is inundated with numerous vendors. It was tough having to talk to so many plumbers but totally worth it. I highly recommend Jose from Oakland Rooter.
