Byron came to rescue us from a backup washer drain In the condominium building. He was on time, pleasant and efficient. he used a 30 ft and a 40 feet snake to unclog the pipe. He tested it two times with running water down the drain to make sure it was clear. I requested if he can run the washing machine cycle to make sure the drain was clear and he agreed. There's some splatters of the gunk from the snake but Byron cleaned it up plus the dirt on the floor where the machine was. Awesome service from Byron!

We need a new water heater and Alameda/Oakland rooter was uo to the task. Ignacio always answer the phone and worked with me on the phone. Our job needed to have the old one removed first because it was leaking and then install the new new after the space had been dried, cleaned and restored. They had no problem work with that schedule. Fernando and Jose were professional and efficient. They answered all my questions all the new water heater. I asked them to replace a bathroom faucet and then gave me a good price and worked hard to remove the 38 year old faucet and install the new one. I am very happy with their work. Will definitely call them again for futute plumbing needs.

The shower drain was getting slower and slower. Somebody who will remain anonymous (shh it was me) didn't use the little hair catcher and the shower drain finally said, ""that's it!"" and stopped draining. That is when I called my favorite plumbing company, Oakland Rooter and Plumbing. I called at 7, someone answered and sent me Jose Flores. I was so happy. First he assessed the problem, determined that the shower drain was the problem - not the toilet or sink (yay!). He quoted me a price and I was able to get the $99 Drain Special on their Yelp page. Then he goes in and 20-30 minutes later, he comes out and says the job is done! He was able to take a credit card payment and we shook hands and off he went to his next desperate home owner! Jose was so wonderful. He wore those little booties over his shoes to protect my floors and carpets. He was neat and tidy and showed me the very repentant clump of hair before it was exiled to the garbage can.

This was the third time our drains had been slow in the last few years so I wanted to try someone new. I called Oakland Rooter in the afternoon, unsure when I could expect someone to come by. They identified a time that afternoon and got right to work. Despite the obstruction being difficult, Bryant successfully found an issue that the previous plumbers never found. He pulled it out and my confidence is so much higher now, hopefully this is the last time we have to deal with this slow drain.

I highly recommend Oakland Rooter for any plumbing issues. Jaime came to give me an estimate for a repair on a gas line. He was very honest on his assesment and didn't try to upsell me on the service. He's also personable, easy to talk to, very knowledgable and efficient. For plumbling needs, go with Oakland Rooter.

Odi!! Odi!!! Thank you! Another great service and reliable. I called at the very end of the day with what I though was an issue with my water heater. Actually, it was my mistake but they were so responsive, polite and showed me what I need to look out for next time ( I have a safety value on my gas line that was bumped). We had a sink that would not drain, even after a home snaking, etc.

My partner and I both thought the other had called a plumber. I went with Oakland Rooter because they were highly rated and could come out on a weekend.

They were great about communicating when they'd come. Clear, professional, polite. And they came when they said they would. I had to run an errand, but my partner said José was very helpful and informative, showing us how to better handle the problem next time it comes up.

Response to my review from owner asked me to reach out to him but didn't provide a way to do this. Since I wrote this review, I've noticed even more sloppy work such as caulk and sticky sealant on my walls, sink (which he didn't even work on) and all over the toilet. See photos of his shabby job recalling the toilet after he removed it. The technician's name is Jose Ortiz. Nice guy but very sloppy and now that we've spoken to other plumbers, we think he overcharged us
