We had an issue with the plumbing in our house that other plumbers could not diagnose. Roberto came to our place and fed a camera through the drains and inspected the crawlspace and instantly found the issue. We had a major clog due to the plumbing under the house all being installed incorrectly. On top of his ability to find the issue he was also icrsid let helpful in explaining what work needed to be done and he was very kind. We will definitely reach out Roberto for future issues as well.

Roberto is the best! He is smart, professional, patient, fair, and caring. Roberto was very professional in making an appointment with me and kept me informed of his arrival time.
I had a mysterious leak problem that I and other plumbers could not find. He came and was very patient in looking for the leak. We look all over our house and craw space and it was bone dry. After a while, we investigated the irrigation system which seemed to be ok but upon further inspection by opening the control valve, we found the leak. He declined to work on the valve but instead suggested I hire an irrigation specilist. He did not charge for the time he spent because he felt that he did not do plumbing work.
He has earned a loyal fan!

Contacted Roberto. He came promptly and reviewed our problem with drainage. He has the equipment he needs to assess what the issue is, explain it in clear terms, and provide options and very reasonable price to resolve our drain problem. He returned the next day and his crew is incredible. They dug, fixed, and replaced drain pipes under 5 feet of clay and dirt, in one day. You wouldn't even know they were on site as everything was so neat and organized when the work was completed. He would not charge for the first site visit as he feels strongly that he is building relationships. Wow, I can't remember the last time I wasn't charged an up front fee.
Honest, friendly, tells you straight up what the issue is and works with you to come up with options. No judgement and very supportive. I highly recommend Oakland Drain Cleaning.

Roberto saved the weekend! I experienced a backed up kitchen drain Saturday morning, and after making a mess, I discovered the clog was behind the P-trap and thus a bit outside my comfort zone. I rolled the dice on a new business via Yelp--and boy am I glad I did. Roberto responded to my request within 10 minutes, and was able to get to my house within two hours on a Saturday. He was quick to assess the situation, and after trying a few things landed on a few long-term recommendations as well as a near term solution. Roberto effectively deployed his industrial grade snake and cleared enough of the gunk out of my old pipes for the water to run smoothly - - making it clear that this should only be considered temporary solution as he showed me how much things were built up and corroding. He even helped tighten up all of the previously loose fittings under my sink. All told Roberto was in and out within 90 minutes, the water was running smoothly again, and the weekend was saved. Highly recommend!

As nearly all the other customer reviews have written, Roberto doesn't charge to come out and make an estimate, responds very quickly and in person, is very experienced, is very skilled, has the latest equipment, maintains excellent communication, and is very personable. He has a small responsive and reliable company, not like the big ones.

Our house was built in 1912, the drain pipe is very old, and my 25' snake didn't solve a kitchen sink backup issue. Roberto came out, diagnosed the problem, explained in detail what needed to be done, submitted a bid for this major work and we accepted. He and his team went to work the next day finished the same day - a job that required extensive digging of soil. Add'l work was recommended and he descaled and hydrojetted the main line promptly. We need additional work on a separate line in our large old house and we will certainly put Roberto first in line when we undertake that.

I called Roberto at 730 am because two of our showers and toilets were not draining for the past day. He was able to come the same day at 11. In one hour he assessed the problem, snaked the main line from the street junction, and then showed me a video of the pipe interior. He was prompt, reliable, and delivered as promised. We can now use our bathroom. He had suggestions for a pipe descaling as a future repair to prevent clogs, but wasn't pushy about it. Whew. Thanks, Roberto.

I would give Roberto ten stars if that were possible. Another contractor convinced me I might have a plumbing blockage, and Roberto came out for free, thoroughly reviewed the system including crawling into and across my tiny and gross dirt crawlspace. He assured me I did not have a problem, and explained what to look for in the future if I think there is a blockage. Super honest, thorough, and he came out about an hour after I called. I was expecting aggressive up-selling from some greedy chain like Roto Rooter, and instead I got a competent, honest guy running a local business. Thank you Roberto!
