Roberto saved us from a minor disaster when the drain pipe in our bathroom sink began dripping surprisingly foul-smelling water onto the floor at an alarming rate this afternoon. Once we chose to contact him from among the numerous plumbers listed on Yelp, he arrived at our house within an hour and quickly set to work determining the source of the problem. Once he'd done that, he was able to repair and clean everything up in approximately 45 minutes. Afterward, he showed us the cause of the problem (an oddly designed stopper, which tends to clog easily), and suggested ways of preventing it from recurring. Roberto did all this for such a reasonable price, and in such an amiable and relaxed manner, that I had to resist an impulse to invite him to stay for dinner. So yes, I'd recommend this guy.

Absolutely amazing. Twice we contacted Oakland drain cleaning about a malfunctioning water heater. The first time it turns out that it was a gas leak so PG&e fixed it and we canceled our service call. The second time, Oakland drain cleaning came to our house and it turns out the electrical outlet had gone bad and just needed to be plugged in somewhere else. No charge for the visit and no charge for the fix! These guys are definitely on my speed dial for any and all future drain issues.

We called Oakland Drain Cleaning to look into our hot water heater which had not been working for the past week.
Roberto came at a convenient time for us, let us know that he was on his way on the scheduled day and arrived on time.
Roberto discovered that our problem was electrical and the hot water heater functioned normally after plugging it into a new outlet.
There was no charge.
We will be calling this company first for all of our plumbing needs.

Roberto and his company were great. They were super reliable, had great communication, and were very responsive. Our main water line started leaking, and Roberto and his crew came right away to advise on the situation and provided recommendations. Part of the project involved getting permits from the city, and Roberto was on top of it and managed the process effectively. Roberto was also very attentive and able to address all of our questions/concerns. We will definitely call them again for any future plumbing work.

We had to postpone d/t an emergency job he was at, changing our original time, but he was quick to text respond to arrange an alternate appt.

He arrived and within 15 min had the job done...
He was proficient, knowledgable, and professional with all that entailed.

Roberto responded and was able to scout the issue at 9pm at night. Then he came first thing the next morning and dug to identify the issue. He shared photos so I knew what was going on. He found a 14"" tree root so I called in a tree service and then will follow up with Roberto to finish the job.
