I had a problem with my toilet and chose Oscar based on his Yelp reviews. He was prompt and courteous in setting up the appointment. He showed up as promised, and was tried a few options before determining the source of the problem (something foreign caught in the S part of the toilet drain). When he wasn't able to get the object out with any of his tools, he said replacing the toilet was the simplest option. He quoted me a price and performed the work. It took longer than he or I expected, but he still asked only for his quoted price. I'll definitely call him with any future plumbing needs.

5 stars! Oscar was there within 2 hours and did a great job replacing an old water heater on our rental home. He was very professional, polite & an all around family man. He called the next day to follow up & make sure everything was working properly. Price was honest & fair. We will definitely call him in the future.

The best part of the service is that you know you are working with an honest tradesman who is not trying to rip you off or overcharge you.Each time he has come to my house it has been on my schedule, usually at night so I don't have to miss work! Great guy. I called late on a friday night around 9pm when I suddenly had a main sewer line issue and he was able to come out early Saturday morning and have a look. Got it fixed pretty quick and prices are fair.

He's reliable and he fixed some hot water heater pipes for me (welding), sprinkler leaks and got all my showers to be able to flow full on. He also installed a 2 faucets for me and the garbage disposal. AWESOME!!!

A+++. Highly recommended. It's rare to find Oscar's combination of competence, diligence and care, especially in trade rife with corrupt practices. Oscar came within fifteen minutes on a Sunday afternoon to snake a clogged line. When he discovered that the problem required the services of a company with a camera snake, he refused to charge us (!), and stayed on while the second company did their work. He really knows his stuff, and he was a complete pleasure to work with.

Oscar is the best!! Hands down! I just bought my house in Valley Glen and the original plumber we used to do the sewer inspection left a very bad taste in our mouth because he was unnecessarily upselling us and charging a LOT of money so needless to say, we weren't about to use that guy when it came time to replace the water pressure valve for the house.

Oscar came to us as a recommendation from a friend and we couldn't be happier. He arrived when he said he was and even showed up earlier that day to determine what size water regulator we needed so he made sure he had exactly what was needed for the job. His pricing was extremely reasonable and he took the time to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend Oscar to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and professional plumber.

I had the most pleasant experience with Oscar Martinez' service. He showed up promptly on a Sunday and took care of my issues right away.

After I wrote this initial review I had my disappointments with Oscar. He was going to come back to fix the leak of the kitchen faucet, but was missing the part. I called him again a week or two later to remind him and also to notify that the clogged sink he fixed was still draining slow. He had forgotten about the faucet, which can happen to all of us. However, after reminding, he still hasn't come back or called with an excuse. He could have had a life long client, but now I am questioning his reliability. Again, he is a nice a guy, but doesn't always show up to get the work finished.
