Recommended Customer Reviews

I would like to start out and say I was hesitant when my request was assigned to Sundance because they have relatively low rating on both Google and Yelp. However I was happily surprised by their quality and professionalism, I would not hesitate to give 5 stars and use their service again! And I hope all potential customers really read some of the bad reviews and see if it is really Sundance or the warranty company.
My first request was routed to another plumbing company which turned out to be nightmare, they blame everything on water pressure, even things not remotely related to water pressure (for example shower head, toilet lever). And quoted me $1650 for some minor repairs (a few faucet leak and toilet malfunction), basically trying to rip me off by saying they could give me a discount. Well, I am not stupid.
My request was then routed to Sundance, Wow, what a professional service! They quickly schedule the appointment, and when they learned I would like a sooner time slot, they even moved the appointment to a Saturday!
Jeff came onsite on time and checked water pressure, it was within the code. He also further explained that ALL the plumbing issues had nothing to do with water pressure.
About the toilet lid, he told my tenant it was not covered but there are tons of cheap place to get a lid for tens of dollars, he even gave them a web link to place order! (The other Plumbing company lied to my tenant quoting there is nowhere to replace the lid and they have to replace the whole toilet!)
Jeff worked hard for a whole 2 hours overtime on Saturday to fix all these issues, he said most of them are really minor issues, the cost are pretty much labor, but no way it would cost $1650 to fix all these (couple of fill valves, shower head, lever, supply line, kitchen faucet, two hours of labor). He even sent out photo report of everything he diagonosed and fixed/replaced with pictures of before and after! That was the first time I received such detailed report about work done, Bravo!
Feels unfair that they have relatively low rating, at least my service was superb! And also notice they have much more reviews than some of the relatively high rating companies. Jeff told me a lot of the low ratings are really about home warranty company, I read some of them, which is true. I had pretty bad experience with home warranty when it came to HVAC items.

TERRIBLE!!! Obviously taking advantage of customers with home warranties. While the technician was responsive and came when scheduled, we were told our refrigerant was low and we had to pay an additional $550 to fill because the warranty company only covered $10 per pound ( I get that, possibly legit) and tech told me he put dye in the line and we would see if it was a leak if problem happened again. It did, they came back and said hey it's a leak and the condenser needed to be replaced. They would contact warranty company and let me know any additional cost that weren't covered. Received a call about a week later to schedule the replacement and needed to pay an additional $3700. (No call to go over non covered cost as tech told me) When asked what was not covered I was told they couldn't tell me...wait, what? I asked for the itemized quote so I could figure it out with the warranty company. Was told they don't have a quote, that I needed to contact the warranty company.
This makes zero sense, but I do so. Warranty company send me a letter letting me know they do not cover ""construction cost, carpentry, or other modifications necessary to remove, relocate, or install equipment"".
I call NW Sundance again, explain the letter and ask them for the paper work that had to submit to the warranty company showing what work needed to be done.
Again, told they don't have anything like that. Sent me an email with a list of some parts (no pricing) and a line item for Non Covered Cost - $3659.80 she is unable to tell me what those cost consist of.
Don't give this company your money. NO legit business does business like this!

I have American Home Shield coverage and when my garbage disposal started leaking under my kitchen sink, I reported it to them and they put in a ticket for NW Sundance Services. NW Sundance got in touch with me and set up an appointment for a few days later. The technician Peter called me before he came to my home (he actually came earlier than I had been told) and was very professional, polite and he had a lot of expertise. He determined that the garbage disposal needed to be replaced and he actually had one on his truck. He did a fine job and was very neat and courteous and the office staff was very nice, as well so I would recommend NW Sundance Services.

I would give zero stars if I could. This company has been stringing us along for over 3 weeks now on an AC repair. They claim 7-10 days for a new fan motor. 3 weeks later and still nothing. It was supposed to be fixed finally today...I called and was told the part still hasn't even shipped yet. I have MS and the heat makes me very sick. They don't care at all. Zero urgency. Zero follow up. Zero communication. They hardly even return calls when I leave voicemails and hardly even ever answer the phone. I won't ever use them again

In a word ""unprofessional "". The person ( 5'5"" tall ) came by and I explained that the clean out (WE HAVE TWO) that needed attention was under the house in the crawl space. All he did was complain. Made my wife unroll the hose (which he left laying in the grass when he was done ... along with his shoe covers ) He went under the house and said he "" couldn't get to it, it's too tight "" the area is 3.5 feet of clearance and the gas guy that came by recently is about 6'3"" and had no issue. All he did was say we needed to put more money into the issue because "" it wasn't covered under our American Home Shield warranty "" ....... He left saying he can't do it, also not putting away the 15' hose out and not putting the crawl space cover back. We had our contractor come the following day ( he is 6'1"" ) .... And took approximately 10 minutes to remove the cover - put a hose in in the clean out and done. I've call AHS and getting our deductible back. When I called AHS to refund us, they informed me that the guy ( won't call him a tech ) wrote on his report that we HAD NO CLEAN OUT and is not covered up the warranty.
****** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ******* all they want is for us to dish out more $$$$$ because it wasn't worth him getting a little dirt on his pant to do the job he has been paid for.

Assigned by Home Warranty (American Home Shield).
Type of Work: Home Central A/C.
NW Sundance is irresponsible and unresponsive. It took almost 4 weeks from the time I placed my service request to when the technicians showed up to do the work.
My A/C wasn't cooling again and it's had a history of leaking refrigerant so I requested a leak test. While they were able to verify it was out of refrigerant again, they could not find the leak. They told me since they could not find the leak, they could not fix it and the only option was to keep refilling it with Freon every time it gets low (which I have been told by other Contractor's is against EPA law). I requested that if they could not find the leak to fix it, would they recommend replacement since Freon is becoming more scarce and expensive--they refused to recommend replacement. (But they would quote me a new system at retail price separate from the warranty coverage. What?!)
When I attempted to contact the warranty company to discuss coverage/options, the warranty company said NW Sundance had not submitted their diagnosis summary and thus I could not discuss other options. I and the warranty company tried to contact NW Sundance for weeks and could not get a hold of them. I had a new A/C quoted and installed by another Contractor before NW Sundance ever responded to the warranty company.

***UPDATE!!
**DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!***
****EVEN if through a warranty Co!!****
So basically after almost 3 months, literally DOZENS of calls back and forth (that is IF you could even get a live person and/or there voice mail box wasn't full!) They finally showed up today with the heat pump (MIKE the installer is a VERY nice man and I do not blame him at all other than for his choice of employers), they were supposed to call Mr Friday go verify no matter what the the part did or didn't show up and if they would still make today's appnt, they did not call... fast forward to today and Mike shows up, they made him demand the balance of a uncovered labor up front (after many calls back and forth before this and them blaming everything on my warranty Co they said they could not give me costs of charges and I had to call my warranty which I DID and they gave me a full breakdown of what was being charged and not, come to find out the extra almost $800 they tried to make me pay was for a ""line set modification"" that wasn't even needing to be done! Also found out that EVERY other charge they sent to the warranty company had such highly inflated pricing by a average of X5 AND included other ""work""/upgrades that they actually wouldnt be/need to do(!!) was what maxed out my warranty and aloud them to charge me the ""uncovered portion""... guess they didn't expect my warranty to actually give me the breakdowns of it all!), anyway so I questioned it and asked WHY I had to pay it up front if we didn't even know yet if it needed ""modified"" (again, really we already verified it WOULDN'T by a 2nd AND 3rd party local HVAC companies!!) And when she rudly kept arguing with me and cutting me off/talking over me while I was just trying to give her the clarification info SHE told me to get from the warranty company in 1st place(!!) I did finally have enough and yelled over her (NO cussing or name calling or anything like that!) Just to get her to stop so I could talk, she of course used it as a excuse and I apologized sincerely and just asked her to PLEASE give me the same respect as she's asking from me and she just got even ruder, told me that even though she wasted her installers time by having him drive all the way down here she was not going to let him install it, refused service and made him leave and (only time EVER in almost 3 months she actually made a call right away) called my warranty and made them transfer it to a different hvac co.... ALL because i actually made the effort to call them out on there FRAUDULENT and unethical EXTREME inflation of the charges and all I was asking it for them to talk out the breakdown of the charges and work and if then it really was all necessary and legit I'd pay no problem (AGAIN I've been trying to get all this worked out for literally months so it's not like they didn't know!)... unless you like to waste your time and money (reminder, the #1 reason this took almost 3 months was because THEY ""lost"" my paperwork for a month, then promised to make up for it and make me a priority which actually took another month!! Aka, they did ZERO to actually try and get it handled as they should of which also was the cause for me to have to give in and spend almost $1k on portable A/C's just to be able to get my house inside under a 100+ deg in the evening for last few weeks...) I'd NEVER use this company, half because of there time-line and other because of there MISRABLE customer service and bad work ethic... (YES I'm also filing a BBB complaint against them along with posting this everywhere I can within my legal right)
It took them almost a month before they could even come diagnose the issue (which it's the season for that so that's not to major of a deal). BUT now for the last 3+ weeks all I get is the run around about why the new heat-pump isn't getting replaced yet, keep being told the supervisor is stepping in and handling it and I'll get a call or email etc etc but never do i...so in total I've been without our a/C or heat for almost 2 months and basically being told by the warranty company that the paperwork they should of sent in on day ONE still hasn't even been sent in!!! I've left multiple messages but most days there voice mail is FULL so it just hangs up on you .... Sundance keeps blaming it on the tech who came out (which HE was great actually) and/or warranty company, the warranty company blames Sundance.... I just want my stuff fixed or at least COMMUNICATION!!!

Avoid this company at any cost. We have been without working air conditioning since June 1st. At that time, our landlord set up service through his home warranty company with these guys and we were told the earliest date of availability would be July 28th. We waited patiently, and on the 28th nobody showed up. We called for days and left messages with no return calls, and were jerked around and told verifiable lies about parts not being delivered. On August 4 they FINALLY came out and installed a brand new system, told us it was all good to go and left. We turned it on and nothing happened - they somehow failed to correctly install a brand new unit. After two days of trying to reach them, we were told this morning that the earliest they could come back to fix their screwup is Tuesday the 9th, despite having weekend work hours. I am absolutely fed up with the lack of professionalism and competence from this company, and extremely annoyed that they will not prioritize finishing this job correctly when their technicians didn't do their job. Hire any other company that you possibly can for your HVAC needs - NW Sundance is neither reliable nor qualified to do this work.

I have had nothing but problems with NW Sundance. They reschedule appointments, without letting the customer know, then lie about whether or not they contacted me. It took 3 weeks to get a plumber to my house and 4 weeks to get service on my furnace (when it was 25 degrees outside!!!). Stay clear of this business!!!

NW Sundance was assigned a contract for an air conditioner claim by FAHW almost three months ago. FAHW claims they ordered the equipment and sent NW Sundance an e-mail on June 25 and scheduled the install for July 28. July 28 came and no word from NW Sundance. When we contacted them they said they were waiting for equipment to be ordered. FAHW said equipment was ordered and pick-up order expired because Sundance did not pick it up. FAHW got a new pick-up order number and tried to call Sundance. They left 3 voicemails for them on July 28, emailed them on July 28, 29 and August 1. Sundance's voicemail is full. If you press 2 for home warranty, it rings busy. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE. EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNINGS and they won't answer the phone, pickup equipment or do anything. They bill us for additional costs but won't answer phone, pick up equipment or schedule install. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!
