i had a stoppage this morning end up getting my feet wet called a couple of plumbers nothing nothing called nuckles and a guy rolled he was fast and efficient he went up my line and then down just to be thorough
now i can shit, shower and shave with out worry.

We called Nuckles and Sons out to unclog our kitchen sink. They didn't fix the issue and busted pipes in our wall. After we called another plumber to fix the issues they caused, Nuckles sent us an invoice! I then called their office on multiple occasions, even emailing them the invoice I paid to the other plumber. NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO TURN US OVER TO COLLECTIONS!!! Run as fast as you can from these people. Rip off artists! I would give them 0 stars if possible!

I recently had Nuckles and Son work on a rental house because of a small leak under the sink. One of their plumbers called me to share that there were a couple of other issues that they wanted to work on, and since I live in a different state I gave them the go ahead to work on them while they were already there. At no point did they inform me that each thing had a set additional charge. There were two employees there for three hours (6 total man hours), and I received the bill for a total of $810 in just labor costs.
The most reasonable charge was for cleaning the combustion chamber on the water heater ($185 set charge), however the other 4 charges were all related to one kitchen sink. They charged $165 (set charge) to put in the garbage disposal (which my tenant was already in the process of doing when he notice the initial leak), $150 to put in a new faucet (set charge), $150 for a basket strainer, and and $160 for the initial leak by the wye. In other words, for $625 labor cost they replaced a few components on a sink.
When I asked why I wasn't informed that things had a set cost, they said even the ""emergency"" plumbers charge $85 an hour for each person. If my math is correct, for this non-emergency I just paid each plumber $135 an hour. I will never again let any of my tenants call Nuckles.

Nickels been a lifesaver for me more than once I appreciate everything they did for me in plumbing
And I felt the price of was reasonable
They didn't make up a lot of fake work
Just necessary repairs

We've used Nuckles and Son for years. They are prompt (even on holidays) and always friendly, courteous and mindful of our home (taking their shoes off if muddy, etc.). We have used them for routine maintenance, minor drain issues and minor repairs. I don't consider their specialty to be major construction plumbing so for something like that I might choose a company who specializes in such. But for routine plumbing problems and maintenance, these guys are great.

They may be competent to do small indoor plumbing tasks and unclog a sink but I would not advise anyone to hire them for any kind of septic system work - they don't know what they are doing. They not only did shoddy work on my system they seemed ignorant on how to fix the problem. I finally had to hire another plumber to correct the issue and that is when I realized Nuckles had price gouged me! I would not recommend anyone hiring them. Call Roto-Rooter and save yourself the pain in the neck they can cause. I am also suspicious as to who is running this company because it doesn't seem it is the original owners from 1933.

Really nice folks. But poor workmanship when finishing a repair job recently. Great to open drains but prolly not great in the plumbing area
