I was referred to Norton by a trusted plumber, as he is out sick, for a drainage issue. I was simply asking if there is a standard rate, but the lady over the phone just refused to answer it, and hang up the call. It is rude to be the least. I would never use company like this.

Called because I had a sewer utility line clog on 2/10 and was looking for someone to come out and scope the line to confirm roots. Spoke to the office manager and Joe Sr. Was told they couldn't come that day but would come out the next. Never got called back with an updated time that they would come. I followed up with 2 more phone calls and never heard anything back. Would not refer them to someone who is having issues, with that type of response/customer service.

On time, professional, reliable, considerate, just really good salt-of-the-earth guys. We used them for a pretty bad sewer main breakage at a rental property in Boonton, and both Joe Sr. and Joe Jr. were awesome at identifying the problem and looking out for our best interests when it came time to dealing with the natural gas company, who was responsible for the breakage. A++++++!!!!!! Will be calling them next time... they're on speed dial.

I called them for a clogged shower drain. After leaving a message they called me right back and came the next day in the time frame they told me. The men who came to the house were friendly and explained the problem. They fixed my issue and I found the price to be reasonable.

We used Norton twice in the past month. They always respond very fast and did a great job. The first time our upstairs bathroom was clogged, they pulled up the toilet to drain it. The second time, our kitchen sink was backed up really deep and it took them a long time to unclog it. But a week later, we had to call them back again to do it second time. They are very responsible and did it twice without question. Their charge is a fixed $300. I would highly recommend them.

Prompt, efficient, and reasonable. Had a backed up kitchen sink, problem solved in no time. Previously used a couple of months ago for the bathtub. Very happy with their service. Recommend highly.

I hired this company to clear a clog. It took them a while to find the clog but eventually they did. A month later, I get my water bill and it's 3x the amount it has ever been. After doing some investigating, I realized this leak started the day Norton's employees were at my house. I've called this company 5x within a week's time. Of course no one has returned my messages. Yet when I was looking to hire them, they returned my call immediately and came out within a day. I don't want any problems, I just want the issue fixed. If they don't respond, I will take legal action.

Norton was called to sneak the line due to having sewage water in the basement. They came on October 23/17. Everything was good, and we were satisfied. Until November 3, when the amount of sewage water doubled in the basement. We called them back and they were somehow angry with me on the phone. The feel I got was ""how dare I call"", saying that they do the best job in town and there is no way i would have water still after they JUST sneaked it a few days ago. So they said they can come at 12 noon to insert a camera down the line and see what the problem is, at it seems there is a broken pipe somewhere. My husband came from work and waited until 1:15pm. During that time, I called Joe Norton at 12:30pm and he said that the technician would be here in 5 minutes. At 12:45 I called back and no one answered the phone. I called 5 times. Eventually my husband left at 1:15pm. At 1:25 i receive a call from a very angry technician screaming where the hell I am that he is banging on the door. So I told him my husband left as he is 1.5 hours late. I said I cold be here in 15 minutes. He HUNG UP ON ME! So I called Joe Norton - the person who I originally spoke with and he said he would be ere in 15 minutes. So I arrive. I find Joe Norton with his helper, however, there is no camera. All he planned on doing was sneak the line again. I was confused. I said I though we agreed to insert a camera. He said well, my brother has the camera, but he left. So i said, ""Ok can you call him back""? He said ""well, honestly, my brother is an ***. You would need to call someone else to come and insert a camera."" I could not believe what I heard. Is this business for real? So i thanked them for sneaking and they left their way. I called someone else to come with the camera, and they did - within 30 minutes. Would you believe me if I tell you that they were not able to insert the camera down the pipe because they were clogged??? How is this possible?? Norton JUST SNEAKED THEM!!! I did not use any facilities after they left so the new technician's exact words were like: ""this is crazy - they obviously didn't care enough to do a good job"". So the new company sneaked it and after they sneaked it they inserted the camera and there are no problems what so ever. I paid LESS for both services: sneaking AND camera insertion than what I paid for Norton's originally sneak on October 23.
