I called Northwest on a Friday at about 1:30 PM about an air conditioner problem. They had a technician on site in less than 30 minutes! Very professional, and although they had to order a part for a full repair, they insured that the air conditioner would run until they finished the job. A+ all around!

Terrible service. Tech told me I needed a new hot water heater ($1,200) when it was just a sensor ($75). My neighbor and I who are not plumbers figured it out. Appointment setter said because if the misdiagnosis they'd only charge me for the replacement part but when I got the bill they charged me for the install. When I emailed them to get it fixed they told me that the boss never told me they'd only charge me for the part. Funny thing is, I did not speak to the boss about the issue. also had them in to fix the exhaust pipe on my furnace and when they fixed it, they blocked the furnace filter. They fixed that for free so I gave them another chance but no more

they came out threw down a pre formed cement pad.. push carted my generator on it and charged me over $700.00 all in twenty minutes! :(

I am a new resident to northern Mi, and found out my furnace was not running properly. After having three separate repairmen tell me that they could not find the problem I was at wits end. I called Northwest Mechanical and spoke with owner Rob who assured me he would help me and be able to repair the furnace. He was right!
Chris arrived and immediately went to work and found the problem. He had to get the parts, but returned at 6:30pm to complete the job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They were both courteous and professional, and highly skilled and detailed.
I will call them in the future with any other concerns that I might have.

Called them for service on our heating system. The showed up on time, and were very professional. Found out the problem quickly and even had parts to fix it on their truck. Would recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC service in the Petoskey area. I look forward to working with them again in the future!
