Paid these folks to hang & fit a gas-fired furnace, but the installation failed inspection because the workmen didn't follow code. NWG's owner then invoiced me for his crew to redo their shoddy work.

When I expressed my shock at being double-billed and asked to speak with the owner, he blew me off until I hollered loud enough to get his attention - and he threatened me!

Office said to wait from 2-6pm. At 5:30 I called to make sure they were coming. At 5:45 the tech tells me no he's not, he's going to a different job. He will put me in the que and maybe he'll come out.
I'll end the suspense for you, he didn't come out.

We asked Northwest Mechanical Group to look at our freezer. They came out and told us that we had to replace the compressor for over $5000.00. Wow! Instead of just taking their word for it we asked another company to look. It turned out to be a dirty condenser, total cost $0.00. We then called Sunglow heating to check if the compressor was truly bad. The compressor was and is in good condition. I've heard of upselling but this is ridiculous, imagine if we would have listened to Northwest Mechanical. Next we received a bill for $481.00 for the estimate and a few minor repairs that were not necessary. We offered to pay part of the bill but wanted them to discount a little. We were told that we had to pay the whole amount or they would charge interest and or send us to collections. They cheated us, don't let them cheat you.
