My home heater stopped working 12-27-2024. Called Northstar and they said they'd have someone right out. Soon after Chris arrived. He analyzed the problem, provided estimates, and called his crew. Not long after, Enrique showed, followed by Michael. Within a couple of hours my heat was restored... same day... Friday afternoon! The guys were kind, very knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. Amazing customer service... thank you Chris, Enrique, and Michael.

Northstar was in to service our HVAC unit I had installed 3-yrs ago. The service was free as part of the Protection Plan I purchased after the last job they did at my home. I was so impressed with the company and crew that I will only use them going forward. Edwin was the tech this time and he pointed out a few things the previous firm's tech never mentioned. The duct work was burnt as a result of it leaning against the exhaust. Edwin separated the duct from the exhaust, determined only the outer wrap was damaged and wrapped that section in fire resistant tape. The penetration for power into the unit was not properly sealed and he corrected that. There was no surge protector on the unit, I had him install one. Finally, there was no secondary condensate pan installed. I asked Edwin if he could install one, he indicated he could but it wouldn't be effective, the secondary pan is supposed to be installed during installation. I appreciated his honesty as he could have easily installed a pan under the unit that wouldn't have been effective. My wife and I have allergies and I asked Edwin if he was familiar with ionizing the air to eliminate dust. He was knowledgeable, we discussed options and I had one installed. It's been two days and I can tell the difference. I work from home, sneeze several times a day and just realized I haven't sneezed in two days since the install. Lastly, as part of the Protection Plan, I scheduled my on demand water heater to be flushed this week. I had been quoted $400 from the firm who used to do the service. As part of the Protection Plan, the flush is complimentary. THANKS Northstar, see you Friday...

I needed a troubleshooting call to fix the central heater in my kids home. I had used them once before for my own home for ac maintenance and compressor fix once already. I thought there would be a travel fee to Hesperia. But I was told that they have an office there and no such fee would be charged. Other than the service call. And if I proceeded to go with the service after that. They would put the fee towards anything over the fix. They got me set and ready. They called to confirm the appointment. The tech called before he came over to announce himself. The tech was friendly and didn't interrupt me while I was working remote. About an hour later. He had us up and running and the heat working. I was then glad that I could leave my kids(adults really) squared away and they didn't have time endure another cold night with the space heaters. Thank you for the straight answers and no nonsense approach to doing business. Repeat customer.
