Our first experience with NORTHSTAR was fantastic! Fernando and Manuel did an amazing job of replacing the small furnace in our new Lake Arrowhead house basement. They worked hard all day putting in a new ""5 ton"" heater that would adequately heat the 2400 sq ft. Hopefully their boss David Garcia sees this review! Kyle and John W. also fixed a few plumbing issues for us that we are so grateful for!

The worst, a job that should have taken 4 days took 9 weeks. The job was to re-pipe my 800"" home and install a tankless hot water heater. Appointments canceled or no shows. They said job done...My downstairs bathroom was totally disconnected from the system, the line to the front yard was just cut, the line to the washer was licking, the line to the side yard not re-piped, the second line to the back yard to this day I can't fine it. The upstairs shower I had hot water coming out of the cold, cold coming out of hot. After the last service call enough was enough. I will tell anyone that ask...DON'T call NorthStar Crestline for anything. On top of that, they ask to replace the thermostat to my heater for $360.00. Bought one at Ace for$19.95.

I was changing out a kitchen faucet and ran into some plumbing issues beyond my pay grade. I called Northstar and the dispatcher, Valerie immediately got me scheduled for the following morning. Kyle, the technician was on time, professional, and easy to work with. He diagnosed and fixed our issue in about 45 minutes! Thanks Kyle and Valerie of Northstar Plumbing. Highly recommend them!

Northstar installed a new furnace into my Crestline home. I had difficulty connecting my furnace to my generator and tried multiple avenues to problem solve. Northstar would repeatedly tell me a manager would get back to me (and they never would). Finally, a technician told me that the furnace was wired
incorrectly (by their technician). They couldn't fix it on the spot by promised to send someone soon. Since then they have not reached out, and have not responded to multiple calls. Terrible customer service. Take your business elsewhere.

Kyle and Bubba provided steller service on the repair of a water leak in my home. They were on time, courteous and professional. I can't be more satisfied. I highly recommend Kyle and Bubba for your plumbing problems.

And for your heating problems, Don is the best. I highly recommend North Star for all you heating and plumbing needs.

Dreadful company. Requested a simple vent change on my existing hit water tank that was working but had a pilot light getting blown out every time we had a storm. Jesus came out to quote me $6800 (!) for a new tankless or $400 for the vent change. Next guy comes to change vent to a less windy side of the house but doesn't seal the vent properly and very next day, right over xmas eve the heater 'coincidentally' never works again. The company doesnt even get to me for another week costing me hundreds in lost rental revenue. Next guy comes to quote me $3800 for new tankless, somehow $3000 less than the first company rep. He also confirms the vent install to be of poor quality and agrees it was probably their fault my heater no longer works. I could go on. But really is it necessary. Epic fail. Avoid this company.

If you have a problem with the worker/technician coming to you, don't expect any supervisor or manager to get involved. We felt the price we had to pay for the work he did was unfair. On top he quoted over $3K to clean the air ducts. We called the company to speak to a manager. We kept being promised that they would call. After several calls to speak to someone in management, we decided we were done with them. Never again. Looks like the technicians set the price they want.

This is the only company I can find on the mountain that is actually reliable, answers the phone and will complete a job in a timely manner. I can't speak to all the service technicians but Don has been absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond for us. We had a brand new furnace installed (by another company), and he didn't install it properly. Don knew immediately what the problem was and fixed it promptly! I also appreciate the scheduling team as they seem to be on top of things and are great about keeping you in the loop on appt times, etc! Thank you guys for going above and beyond for us. Only downside is they charge a $99 fee for coming out, however, it does go directly toward any work they do.

Kyle and Travis saved my butt. I tried to do a simple valve replacement on my own (how hard could it be, right?). Well, I somehow managed to screw it up and it's been dripping for a month. Kyle and Travis showed up and fixed it for me in 5 minutes without making me feel like an dummy, haha. From now on I'm just going to call Northstar plumbing instead of trying to fix things myself. Something that they could have easily fixed in a jiffy is now going to cost me an arm and a leg in mold remediation costs because I thought I could fix it myself. Learn from my mistakes, call Northstar.
