Absolutely the BEST air conditioning service we have EVER had in our 24 years of living in the Tampa Bay area! Thank you Brian Sr. for a great initial contact to see if we would be utilizing the services of Northside for a new A/C install because our older unit had lived out and beyond its warranty. Brian knows his air conditioning facts and comes across in an honest and direct manner. We felt confident we were getting not only a fair price for a company that will be around forever in order to provide us peace of mind for future A/C needs. We have experienced other company installations, and this was by far the BEST. The crew of Brian Jr., Jake, and Ethan were so polite, so kind, and these guys know their stuff. We felt we were in capable hands the entire day. We liked them so much that we bought them pizza for lunch and shared a little conversation as the day rolled along. Our new unit is quiet, efficient, and cools better than the TRANE we had before (we went with Daikin), and we even had them place surge protectors on both of our units (an existing one and the new one). The young man in the office is named Walker I believe, and he is super-efficient and nice in handling all of the scheduling (from installation to inspection). I can't say enough GREAT things about Northside Services.

The side of their truck says """"Guided by Christian Principles"""". It should really say """"Guided by No Principles"""". Slogans are just words, but it is deeds that count. Less than one year after Northside installed a new $6,000 A/C system, roofers installing a new roof drove a nail through the copper lines in the attic. The lines were not to code and actually touching the underside of the roof sheathing. Northside came out to make repair and said they were not responsible because they had reused the old lines when they installed the new unit; what a surprise! They then charged $781 for one hour work to repair. Northside said the roofers should taken more care. They are the ones that should have taken more care to make sure the lines to which they were attaching the new equipment was to code. When asked how they could charge over $500 per hour labor they said it was a flat rate no matter how long they are there. Yeah flat out shameful. You can bet if the repair took longer than the flat rate there would be an up-charge. Slogans are cheap. Character is priceless.

I had a recirculating line on my hot water heater spring a nice leak on a Friday evening. Given some recent experiences with another company on air conditioner repairs (6 trips), I was expecting another hassle, but Northside immediately sent out a seasoned plumber who replaced the faulty section of pipe. Quick resolution on Friday @ 10:30pm at a reasonable price seems like the perfect service call. Turns out the point of failure was a """"shark bite"""" connector (press-on fitting some guys use to save labor over soldered joints) used by another outfit. The Northside guy took some pictures and the failed piece for his plumbers guild, where apparently the shark bite controversy rages. I appreciate anyone who's that committed to staying on top of their profession. Hopefully I won't need to call anyone, but if I do, Northside would be my go-to.

These folks are absolutely wonderfu! They do incredible work, are very nice and professional. I would highly recommend them!!! Thank you Northside Services for your quick response time and a job well done!!

Like Everybody is Saying Buyer BeWare The Owner Loves To Throw He is A Christian Put a System in our Home 7 Years ago I have continous had issues with , Just Yesterday Out 400.00 for another Compressor Fan Motor I am surprised they are in business and would not Recommend Them To Anyone, Please Save Your Money, It's been a huge Head

GREAT COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO BUY NEW AND GET USED! Company sold new furnace then misrepresented 8 year old used furnace as the new furnace. I (the customer) had to inspect unit to determine scam in progress. This company attempted to deceive me and ultimately they would have scammed me. Luckily I was home, knew enough to look, and knew enough to ask questions. The Scary part is, had I had my wife or my parents opening the door for this company, I would have been scammed! I called this company to come out and they did on 12/17/2013 and was told by James Thornsberry I needed a $375 furnace part and $100 charge for them coming out... I then asked for the price of a new unit instead and was told $1950 (I said No thanks to that)... then the price was suddenly $1400 with 0% financing. I said ok, signed the financing paperwork, and scheduled for the next day. I was repeatedly told by James this would be a new unit, but it would only have a 5 year warranty due to it not being connected to other new units. The """"new"""" unit I was getting arrived the following day on 12/18/2013 and that is when my consumer confidence and trust in the company began to plummet... The unit was not in box, was not the same manufacturer as quoted (carrier instead of bryant), had some rust on it and even had tape residue from a previous install on it... I immediately questioned this and asked where my furnace was... The guys quickly got in their truck and made calls without me being able to hear.. I was then called by my sales guy(james). He tried to assure me that it was just a """"training"""" unit and that it was indeed new... At that point I asked the tech how old and he told me 2012... I then asked them to open it up and it was in fact from August of 2005... I decided I did not want a """"new"""" 8-year old used until and asked for what I paid for... A new Unit... I spoke with my sales person, the GM(Steve i think), and the owner... They ultimately told me they would not install a new unit for that price and instead tried to now sell me the used unit now for $1200 or a real new unit for $1750. While talking to THE OWNER, I told him that I did not have the budget for the higher price and would not buy a used. He told me the actual price of a new until was $800-1100, yet refused to install one for less than $1750... he tried several times assured me that $1750 was a great price.. When I held to my price and reminded him that I had an agreement signed, and said I would post reviews... Ultimately this christian owner tried to bring GOD into the equation and use GOD to persuade me not to post negative reviews on them. He then hung up on me. Additionally this company repeatedly advised me that the permit was part of the reason for the cost, yet I have been told that it would have been against code to install the until they were installing because it would have instead required a full system upgrade to be code compliant. I have been told by companies that they doubt this company pulled a permit and it was never their intention to. Also, the main board (most expensive part) appears to not be the problem... It is believed to be a wiring harness... Boy am I glad I am not doing business with this company!

They misled us and said that we were getting a 5 ton system; however they installed a 3.5 ton air handler and a 5 ton heat pump. We have had the system for a couple years and every year something breaks. We called them for repair and help on our problem and they did not do anything for us. I would just use another company. Read the google reviews too.

Northside Services We renovated a 1924 house all of the plumbing had to be updated, we interviewed several companies and all seemed to have an excuse as to why they couldn't do the job, my take was they just didn't have the experience with extremely old homes, were lazy and just didn't want to do the work. But Jason (Northside) had no problem with the amount of work it would entail and it was a lot, he told us exactly what had to be done and what he'd probably find during the process. Everything Jason told us about our old plumbing was true and he completed the job with no problems. We had so many problems with other contractors working on the home and with inspections, but never with plumbing all our inspections passed the first time. I highly recommend Northside Services ask for Jason if you have plumbing needs. He's very professional and knowledgeable, he's a great guy to work with we've been very happy with all the plumbing. R & S Smart

I am very satisfied with Northside Services, in particular, Brian, who came to service my HVAC unit. He was efficient, professional, courteous and personable. He took the time to explain the workings of the unit and the maintenance I should be doing, which I greatly appreciated. When I asked about measures to cut down on the dust in my house, Brian was very knowledgeable and presented me with various options and did not try to push me or """"upsell"""" me in any way. He is an asset to the company.

No show - no call - do not waste your time with this company. Poor customer service at every step. This company was supposed to install a water heater on Saturday morning. My husband called them on Friday to confirm the appt and was told they would be out between 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We waited all morning for them to arrive and they did not show. When my husband called the plumber, he said the wrong model was sent and that a manager had called to notify us that the install would not be happening. That's a lie! There was no call to his phone from this company. Had they had the decency to notify us, we would have understood. Their plumber said he would re-order but it would be another 10 days. Today, Monday, 2/12/18, my husband called to cancel their service. They've proven their undependable. Their receptionist asked if he wanted to speak with a manager and he said he did. After holding for 8 minutes with no manager answering the call, he told the receptionist he was done. We looked at their reviews and thought they provided good customer service but our experience shows that to be inaccurate. It's worth it to pay more for a company that honors their commitment and communicates with their clients.
