I called to have our well looked at as it quit working . They said it would be a coupe weeks before they could make it out to look at it , which was fine. When they came out , they brought two service trucks along with two guys. The looked at the well and determined they needed to drive both rigs across out driveway curbing and yard to get close enough to the well to run a generator cord to it. After jumping it they determined it was a electrical issue and I needed to call someone else. So after being there for 30. Mins- 1/2 hour , busted up concrete and having to call someone else we got a bill for 510.00 ( which was for a service rig to come out, and two hour labor for two guy making it four hours labor). Beware , if you stop at there office and want to pay with a debit, or credit card , that will cost you an additional 4%.

We had a well put in my Northern Plains Plumbing, it all started back in April we called got a quote and were told about 3 weeks out, we put our deposit down of 2500 dollars and the check was cashed. Fast forward we called a few times and asked a time frame, we were told that it would be a while, because animal wells come first. No problem, we don't need it that bad, and we love animals, so we weren't upset at all. The only complaint I have about this course is that the cost went up 3 dollars a foot, as your contract is only good for 30 days. (Even though they cashed the deposit and kept putting us off but once again no big deal, we agreed to it, so that's on us, but also something that I think should be noted for anyone looking to drill).
August 18th, guy comes out and tells us he will be back to the 23rd to start, they leave their trucks there, no big deal we are accommodating people. They ask us to fill their water tank, no biggie, Happy to. The guys that drill the well are AWESOME and so nice to my son, they are super, which brings me to my complaint which is unfortunate and could have been avoided.
On 9/13/2021 I call the same day my bill is due (totally my fault I hadn't opened the bill and told my husband and by the time I did on Friday they were closed, which is awesome and great for employee moral). Anyway, I call, and a nice lady answers the phone, I semi explain that the bill seems high, and have some questions. She transfers me the Gardell, who is the excavating supervisor and does their billing. I state that I think our bill is a little high, and wondering if he deducted the deposit on my bill, his reply ""No"" I said oh, it just seems really high, we were quoted around 8500.00, he instantly corrects me and told me that was a break down, oh no big deal it is just almost 4k over so curious. He then asks me my name and pulls up ""my invoice"", after saying we have a horse and quarter pump and pitless bottom. I am beyond confused and baffled by his abrasive tone and clear annoyance at my questions. I advised him that I would have my husband call him, his response was yeah do that.
My husband gave him a call and spoke to him, after looking into it was realized that he was reading someone else's invoice (with the same last name and time of service), and he did indeed not take off our 2500 deposit. I immediately went to their office and paid the invoice, just to be done. Honestly, I am not convinced that our bill is correct but am choosing not to pursue it due to Gardell's attitude towards me. Note that Gardell is the owner of the business hence why I feel it so important to write the review.

We had them come see an AC issue (it's been years ago, so maybe they've improved) but we paid for 3 hours of them ""looking"" for the issue that was never found. Expensive search.

We have used Northern Plains for years and they have always been extremely accommodating and professional from the first phone call for service to the technicians that come through my door. They waste no time getting to work and getting the job done efficiently. The technicians are always knowledgeable. Northern Plains Heating and Air have earned my loyalty and trust.

We have worked with Northern Plains plumbing for many years on countless jobs and they have always provided superior service! Lori Wilson is amazing to work with and the staff and installers are professional and knowledgeable about the industry. I would recommend Northern Plains Plumbing for bathroom and kitchen remodels, plumbing for a remodel or new construction...or even a quick faucet change or plumbing issue. They are amazing!

We had the service guys come in to move the tub drain, (which I had all the concrete removed so they could work, and had it marked out for them) and to cut and cap 4 water lines. They sent 2 technicians for the job, which only needed 1 and which took a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes from the time they got out of their vans until they drove off. We were charged for 3.5 hours of labor as they charge for each guy on the job, which we can put up with. When the service guys turned in their time for the job, one turned in 1.5 hours, they have to round to the next half hour we were told, and the other turned in 2 hours. After multiple attempts to get a hold of someone to rectify this, we were told that both management and the service guys were ""in agreement that it was right"" and that they refused to adjust our bill properly. So in effect, we are ending up paying for our so-called ""free estimate"". This is plain theft. Rounding their job time up alone with two plumbers already cost us 40 extra minutes of total job time that nobody was there working. Still they refuse to remove the other half hour. So for a job that took 1 hour and 10 minutes we have to pay for 3.5 hours of labor at $85 an hour per technician....disgusting. Even when they came in to give us our estimate, we were quoted that it ""wouldn't end up costing us 10,000 dollars"", great estimate guys. I guess we should have known better by that. There is so much more that could be added but I just don't have the patience to keep going...
