Super expensive. I paid $360 to have my kitchen faucet replaced, not including the faucet itself. I don't live in an old mining house and my plumbing is all new. I won't be calling them again.

Originally I called because I was hearing a bang when my furnace would run, but that quit happening before my appointment (was probably just the ductwork). When he arrived early, which was great, he checked over my furnace, filter and ductwork. My furnace vent pipe was leaking, however, and he did fix that by repiping it in that one area. The price was reasonable. The young man was professional, informative and courteous. He was able to give me quotes one other potential projects. Overall, a great experience. Will be contacting them for all future plumbing and heating needs. Also, Molly is really pleasant to talk to you on the phone. She even called and asked if he could come early, which I had no issue with.

Our sink had no hot water after reopening our house after winterized. The pluming seemed fine. Ben diagnosed the problem as a stuck check valve in the faucet and was able to fix it saving us from need to replace it. He was timely and friendly.

I just want to say Northern has been wonderful for us! We relocated permanently to the UP 3 years ago, and were used to relatively (not necessarily stellar) reliable service when needed downstate. Once here, its taken us quite a while to get used to requested service contractors just showing up when it suits them, and providing okay but not great service. We were really happy to find Northern! These guys are really professional! First off, they schedule an appointment with you, and confirm everything via email ... this is so reassuring and makes planning for the service call convenient. They follow up the service call with an invoice via email, which again, I love! When the guys do appear for their appointment, they show up looking professional ... as in nicely dressed for the job, and not looking like they are a sweaty mess, or in other nasty looking plumber condition. (I really appreciate that plumbing is a difficult job, and thankfully someone other than me is doing it ... but the bend-overs can be quite disconcerting!) And finally, they just do a darned good job. We've had some challenging maintenance issues with our very old inherited house, but these guys have always been able to come to our rescue very efficiently. Thank you Northern!

This is the best heating and plumbing service you can get in the Copper Country. Employees are professional, i.e., they call if they'll be delayed or need to re-schedule. You can otherwise count on them coming when they say they will and doing a great job. I've never had to recall them after their service. So far, they've very effectively replaced my electric dryer, water heater, and oil furnace with gas fixtures. Also, I've had some emergency plumbing issues that they've quickly and effictively repaired in a very timely manner. I like that they listen to your needs, then discuss possible solutions with varying prices and other important considerations.

They converted our island cooktop from electric to gas. They did a great job for a reasonable price given the complexity of the project.

Separately they diagnosed a leak that came through our downstairs ceiling as a toilet that needed a new wax seal. They replaced it and cleaned up nicely. I was worried that we were going to have to rebuild the whole bathroom, but they were done in less than an hour. Again, very reasonably priced!
