They came out to my house today and quoted a price of $280, but then added on an additional cost without informing us. They only put on a toilet O ring and changed a spout. Final cost was $435. My father was very upset that he was deceived by this company. I have used them in the past, but I will never use them again. DECEIVING

I spent about $250.00 with the plumbers that day in replacing a toilet O ring. It was the flap that they told me directly would cost $55 to install. It's a 2 minute job. That is what I was referring to. It had nothing to do with the evaluation, we took care of that.

North Star was prompt ,went up on the roof with a snake and said that they had unstopped the toilet. There wasn't anyone living in the home at that time.They were very expensive and 11 days later, right after someone moved in the toilet and shower backed up. We called North Star and they said they could not get someone out there until the next day. You cannot leave a family of 4 without bathroom facilities for 24 hours. I called another plumber, they came out right away ( a further distance) They did a lot more cleaning out and, had to pull and reset the toilet for the same amount of money I had been charged by North Star. I called to see if North Star would in any way reimburse for any of the doubling up, the answer was no North Star said that if I had waited they might have given me a discount. I felt at the time the work was done by North Star that North Star had not done a very complete job of looking for issues more interested in talking. Would not recommend them.

Great service. They were able to fix our leak the same day we called. We even called on a Friday afternoon and they still came out quickly.

We had a pipe leaking in our front yard. We called several plumbers and North Star was the only one who answered their phone. North Star sent 2 guys out. Rick and Brandon, they were at our house within 30 minutes, found the problem and repaired it within 2 hours. They were prompt, professional and reasonably priced. We were very pleased with the services received and I would definitely recommend!!

They are nice people and really professional. I can say many good things about these people and their work. But there is a catch. They are expensive. Make sure you get quote from other plumbers before calling them.
