We had a massive line break at our office - water flowing like a river in between buildings, Chad and crew came out - had it completely repaired I mean they had to hammer thru the pavement - then dig the hole and make the replacement. We lost so much water due to the break but North Star Plumbing was at our rescue. Thank you we absolutely will call them again.

Isaac and his brother installed a new toilet for us which was arranged through Lowe's. They were on time, friendly, efficient and very neat. I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately, when you buy a product at Lowes, and then Angi subs the installer, you don't have any say who the installer is when they show up on your doorstep. Advice, buy the product and you pick the installer after your research.

Came to my house to replace kitchen sink. I purchased my sink and got all the attachments I was told I needed. I'm a widow, caregiver and a woman. When the two workers got to my house they looked burnt sink and said they couldn't install it because I didn't have what they needed. I said when can they get what they need and come back to install? They just stood there like two dummies and didn't say a word. I told them to get out of my house. Called North Star and they said someone would get back to me and no one ever did. They SUCK!!!!

Terrible service. They rerouted a hot water line and in the process took out the dishwasher. They dragged their feet on the reinstall. Only after I repeatedly called, did they return to finish the job. The dishwasher then proceeded to create a flood at the floor board level, ruining cabinets, wood floors, etc. When I pointed this out to the owner of North Star, Chad - who returned my call after I left a detailed message left with an answering service - he said, ""We told you there was a defective part when we installed it.""
Completely untrue. Why would I allow a defective machine to be reinstalled in my (recently remodeled) kitchen? I have a witness who knows what was said that day. I am filing a complaint with the state contractors board on this matter. Avoid this company.

Yesterday I had a toilet replaced, installer was very neat and efficient but noticed I needed a new flange. I was charged $150.00 for maybe a $7-25 piece of equipment. Too bad as this was a totally outrageous charge hasand has affected my review.

North Star is a ghost service. There are no humans to contact. They are pushed on you through Lowe's installation company which is outsourced to a company outside of the United States called Angi. You can call North Star all day long and only get an answering service. Is this what customer service is all about these days?
Go ahead and take a day off work and wait for their installer and an hour before the schedule you will be bumped for another day and time. How convenient is that? Go ahead, call them...
Your best choice is to purchase the garbage disposal and find a good plumber with an actual customer service department. You might even save a few bucks.
Another question: do you really want people in your home if you can't track down their employer?
What happens if there is a problem with the installation? Who are you going to call?
