They keep billing us for a job we paid for. And they had to come back after the job was done because it wasn't done right the first time.

Very poor follow through. I've gone to these guys for several jobs. I've had to make multiple requests to get the estimates despite promises to get them to me in hours or days. The most recent took TWO months to get an estimate they promised in a day or two. Then, they were substantially higher than other well know companies out here. Several reviews suggested that they were rude. That was not my experience. They were perfectly pleasant -- they just dropped the ball and overcharged.

We have been dealing with North Sea Plumbing for several years. they had replaced a water heater a few years ago and when it started to leak, quickly and efficiently replaced it, for no charge since it was still on warranty.

Now recently, our shower head broke off and the valve rotted causing an immediate leak that was fortunately detected right away. The on-call plumber was able to troubleshoot the problem over the phone so that the house was safe and arranged for appropriate repair to be done a few days later. They showed up right on time, were extremely efficient, very pleasant to be around, and cleaned up completely.

Their prices have been fair in the service efficient. We will continue to rely upon them for our plumbing, heating, air-conditioning and maybe even our irrigation in the future

I had a horrible experience using North Sea Plumbing and Heating. They make you pay upfront and don't finish the job. After a month of hounding them to come back, I was forced to call someone else to finish. I made sure to have him check the work North Sea did, and unsurprisingly, they installed things incorrectly. I would only ever recommend these crooks if you enjoy migraines.

Have used Northsea for irrigation service for 10+ years. It is a larger firm that is mediocre and expensive but we have stuck with them out of loyalty. However, we have had a couple of true plumbing crises and they have failed to be able or willing to help in each case. We have yet to see evidence of any real plumbing expertise or trained personnel. This weekend Northsea actually refused to help with a massive leak. The service person who showed had no interest or ability in solving the problem which had our house completely without water. We begged the switchboard to have a supervisor get involved but the promised call from a supervisor never came after 12 hours. We finally called in a vey capable plumber from a different firm we had never dealt with who arrived 30 minutes after our call and solved the problem within 45 minutes. We will part ways with Northsea.

Thieves and liars.

I will never use them again. I had a scheduled appointment for a shower repair. I was the only one in my house, I had arrived the night before at 11:00 and never left the house until plumber arrived at 2:30. When plumber left my engagement ring was gone. There is NO WAY anyone other than North Sea employee took it. But he left the two other rings (one of which was more expensive) ... was he hoping I wouldn't notice?

Called owner immediately (in an absolute panic) after plumber left when I realized ring was missing, and he assured me if this was the case, he would be fired, as they do work in very expensive unoccupied mansions and can't have a thief as an employee. (Forget about your other customers...WHERES MY RING?) Kept asking me if I was sure, the guy had kids, he'd lose his job....
By some moment of weakness I did NOT call the police. In fact I spent the next 36 hours searching my house. I even checked my dogs poops, and had her x rayed the next day to be sure she didn't swallow it. (NO WAY she could have...it was way back on bathroom counter....but I wanted to be SURE it was gone)
Left msg for owner the next day (Saturday)..he had told me he was off to Cancun or something; hope he had a good time.
Called the police on Sunday, made my report, provided security video from my ring cameras, and never saw my ring again.
Now, I had used North Sea prior to this and had no issues. So I believed the owner would fire the guy. Apparently not. Through the subsequent insurance investigation I learned he was NOT FIRED.
So he's still an employee. And could be coming to your house next.

I am absolutely appalled by my experience with North Sea Plumbing and will never use them again. I had an appointment scheduled on a Saturday for sometime between 11:30 and 12. At 1:00, no one had shown up. I called to see if I could get a revised estimate of when the plumber would be there. The office was closed (it closes at noon on Saturdays) and the service, though really trying to help, had no information as to what plumber had been assigned and no way to track anyone down.

A little before 2:00 there was still no sign of the plumber. I had other engagements and just wanted to know when he might be there--and if he would, in fact, be coming. I was left hanging.

The plumber finally arrived, was quite rude with no apology for being late. He fixed the problem in 15 minutes. When he left, there was a new problem. I was billed for a full hour with no acknowledgement of my inconvenience or the fact that there was no one who could advise me.

I emailed the company three times and called the president once. No one responded to any of my communications--an outrageous way to treat a customer who had used them many times prior.

When I got my credit card company involved,North Sea misrepresented several issues. 1) They told them they'd sent me a letter, 2) they wrote to the credit card company that they found if hard to believe the plumber was rude and 3) they said they'd never given me an appointment time. Essentially, they called me a liar three times and never did anything to rectify the situation or apologize.

Arrived within a few hours of a call on emergency saturday visit. Anthony couldn't have been nicer, I'm all fixed. Phone reception very helpful too. Happy camper!

North Sea Plumbing is a family owned local Hamptons business that has been around for decades. I rely on them for plumbing, water filtration and irrigation at several of my properties in Southampton. They've always been responsive and as reliable as they come.

I have not have the same experience as the other reviewers. Not even close.

If i could give ZERO stars I would! WORST customer service I have ever encountered. The woman who takes appointments is just downright nasty. Save your time and your money and look elsewhere for a decent plumber.
