I asked for an estimate for a bunch of plumbing work that I needed done in my home. For replacing the hot water heater (labor only), they wanted $1750. Considering that it's about a 3-hour job, that's nearly $600 per hour. When I asked for an explanation, Brent said ""I don't have time"". He then said I could get it done for the price he quoted or go elsewhere. Needless to say, I've gone elsewhere. They may do a good job with they work, but their prices are ridiculous and their customer service is non-existent.

You can't do better than North Pacific Plumbing in Davis. They were incredibly thorough in diagnosing a clogged main sewer line and keeping me updated on everything that was happening each step of the way. It's clear that Preston takes his job seriously as he did an outstanding, clean job.

They responded quickly to my email and were able to get us an appointment within a few days. The plumber that did the repair was on time and got the job done quickly. We live out of town and visited my daughter in her rented house in Davis. Five college women managed to really clog the sewer pipes. I tried and failed to clear it with a hose, and based on yelp, I called Brent at North Pacific Plumbing. He returned my call within a half hour and was on the job as agreed the next morning (I called at 3 in the afternoon). The job was done very quickly. The cost was very good (I am a landlord and the bill was less than I expected). Brent was a very good communicator as well. This is my go to guy for as long as the daughter lives in Davis.
She hasn't been back yet, but Brent gave us a 20 day guarantee.

I selected North Pacific Plumbing based on their Yelp ratings and was not disappointed. Brent helped me pick out a point-of-use hot water heater and then installed after the unit arrived. He was prompt in his replies to my emails and was on time to both appointments.

Usually I reach him and schedule appointments via email, which works well for me. The guys are pleasant and don't leave a mess after completing the job. Prices are competitive with others in their trade and their professionalism is unsurpassed. I would definitely recommend them for your plumbing needs.

This is a local company, and I was able to get an appointment to have a kitchen faucet replaced within a week of calling. Steven was there when he said he would be. He had all the parts and equipment he needed to do an efficient job. He pointed out some oddities with the way my home was originally plumbed. When he left, he took out all of the parts and boxes left over from the installation. This is the second time I've used North Pacific Plumbing and will continue to use them whenever I have a need.

Brent Dotson (and his crew) did an unbelievable job re-piping our house from galvanized to copper. It was an extensive process due to an extremely tight crawlspace, a combined slab and subfloor, and tight turns inside walls. I have experience in construction, and I knew this was going to be a tough one. They met with us before the demo began to explain all of our options and asked if we wanted to give input. They were extremely knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. At the end of each day, the house was cleaned up by the crew. They were very careful to protect our old wood floors. Our comfort was of their utmost concern. They even replaced a toilet in a 2nd bath so we could have weekend guests, even though it had to be removed again. The results were amazing. We have much better pressure and volume in our washing machine, kitchen sink, and shower. We couldn't be more pleased.

We called to ask them to fix a simple faucet leak twice. First time, they had to leave to by the part (more expense), then returned and put in part that did not stop the leak, which began again about a week later. We gave them the benefit of a doubt and put a bucket until to catch the slower leak. Then we called them again for a second bathroom leak. They again ""did not have the part"" resulting in 2 trips to get the right part (more time and money). This fix did not work - leak started shortly after filling a third of a two gallon bucket in the next 12 hours. I feel we were scammed and would not recommend.
