Our 10 (or so) year old hot water heater decided to finally start leaking. I called Plamen first based on his reviews here on Yelp! (fully expecting an afternoon of calling around looking for a price that made sense) - he answered immediately and was available to replace our water heater 5pm that day!

He came on time, wore a mask, brought everything he needed.

We had a new 40 gal hot water heater installed and a new metal platform + drip pan. This only took him about an hour and a half. Very impressed.

Unfortunately our house water was ""gassy"" for the next two weeks, but Plamen didn't leave us hanging. He checked in via text every couple days, and came back twice to install/change equipment to resolve the issue.

It's now been a week since his last visit and we couldn't be happier.

Will recommend Plamen to everyone in my neighborhood.

We discovered we had no hot water and a leaking water heater after 9pm, and was a bit concerned about getting anyone here this close to thanksgiving. With a little research I sent requests for quotes and to my surprise had a response that night. He asked all the right questions and I felt comfortable his quote would be correct. They were able to come out the very next day and quickly replaced our hot water heater. Plamen kept in touch throughout the day to let me know exactly when to expect them, worked quickly and efficiently, and you can't even tell they were here. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. I'm one happy customer.

I was referred to Plamen by my neighbor. He was very quick to respond with a quote, arrived on time, left everything as he found it...and pricing was better than we got elsewhere. He added a drip pan under the heater, which hopefully will not be needed again, but comforting to know it's there. We could not be happier and so glad to have hot water again. Plamen is legit. I called at like 9:00 am and by 1:00 pm I was stepping out of a hot shower. He's a full on pro. Showed up masked up for Covid in a tidy truck, business card with license # and clear quote provided. Gave me an appropriate window on repair time, cleaned up after himself. Couldn't be happier. It cost way less than some high profile advertised companies in SD county. Highly recommend him. Couldn't be happier on how easy he made it. Was able to work from home without missing a beat while he got it taken care of.

I recommend Plamen and his company for any of your hot water heater needs. He is very knowledgeable and responds promptly to phone calls and texts. He was able to provide same day service to install a new hot water heater...and his prices / fees are very competitive! And, working by himself, he was able to remove and install the new hot water heater in less than 2 hours...and he wore a mask during the entire appointment.

I called on a Tuesday, my water heater was replaced early Wednesday morning. He texted me 30 minutes to arrival and came wearing a mask. His price was very competitive and he cleaned up the area where my old heater had been leaking, put bleach on it and put a large drip pan under the heater if heaven forbid it ever happens again. I found the overall level of service was excellent.

Plamen is a true professional and was amazing to work with. He responded quickly to my emails and texts while addressing all of my questions. He arrived a head of schedule, installed the water heater under two hours and did a thorough job cleaning up. I had just worked with another plumber earlier in the week to address an issue in my bathroom and it was a frustrating experience. I'm so glad that I found North County Water Heater Services on Yelp. Water heater replacements are all Plamen does, and he does it very well indeed. After giving me a highly competitive price to replace my old tank over the phone, at my request came by my house to discuss several options I had in mind for my tank replacement. Although happy to do any of them, he dissuaded me from all of my options as overkill/unnecessary. He had every opportunity to up-sell me, but instead kept it all grounded to what was really needed and appropriate for my situation.

He and his son then came by first thing the next morning and had the whole job complete in less than two hours, at the price he originally quoted - no surprises. And the price was better of than all other competitors (tank included, although he was fine with me buying one elsewhere - he even offered to pick it up!). Plus his son was just as hard working and respectful.

Fast response, quick work, respect for the customer, great quality job. Who could ask for more? I highly recommend these guys.

I am so glad I chose Plamen at North County Water Services to install my new water heater. He was on time, efficient, and completed the job in 1.5 hours.
He showed up in a mask due to covid 19 and was very reasonable.
