I highly recommend North County Renovation and Repair. We needed a built-in bookshelf and media cabinet installed in a wall. John and Brian did an excellent job. John provided the quote quickly and was able to get started as soon as the cabinets were ready. They were very organized and thought about the details well in advance. Their ability to think about the practical use of the media cabinet and the lighting made a huge difference and helped us to think about things we would have never considered until after the installation. They also pointed out some important safety concerns from our previous construction and helped to make the t.v. setup safer and more secure for our three children. I appreciated how they communicated each step of the way. We've had construction in our home before and I was blown away by how John and Brian cleaned up after each day.

John and Brian are the real deal...trustworthy, fair, knowledgeable and extremely hardworking. I am selling my home and needed to complete a long list of repairs. They answered the phone when I called and came out to give an estimate for my ""to do"" list. They installed new smoke detectors, removed an old bird's nest, repaired and secured a mesh pool gate, repaired a perimeter wooden gate, hung cabinet doors and installed hardware. They arrived with masks and a great attitude and even went to Home Depot and purchased all of the supplies they needed. When they were finished, they reviewed each task with me and made sure that I was satisfied with the work they performed. They are both such nice guys and worth every penny!

My husband and I moved into a rental home that needed many various repairs, including a broken and rotten fence, an outdated bathroom exhaust/light, broken screen doors, and so on. Our landlord didn't want any new fixtures installed except the exhaust/light, so John and Brian did the best they could with what they had! They were very patient and explained and showed me the problems that they saw and ideal fixture, then proceeded to repair everything to the best of their ability. They showed up first thing in the morning and stayed all day until everything was done, and always confirmed with me that I was happy with what they've done or else they were happy to work on it more! I always felt safe with them in the home, and they were always happy and wonderful to chit chat with and was otherwise content to be left alone to work.

These guys were such a pleasure to work with, so I definitely recommend them! Easy to talk to, friendly, punctual, efficient, honest, and great work done!

I found our go-to plumber!

I requested a quote through Yelp at 12:12 p.m. and received a response immediately. By 12:55 p.m. that same day, John had arrived, repaired the leak in my kitchen sink, and left. Seriously!

In addition to fixing the leaky faucet (and testing it multiple times to ensure it was indeed fixed), John was incredibly friendly, followed all Covid-19 safety precautions, and wiped down the area (leaving it cleaner than it was before). I would recommend (and will recommend him) to ANYONE.
