I had Bill of North County Flood take care of a flood that occurred in a rental that I own. A kitchen faucet burst in an upstairs unit and flooded the unit below. Bill came out immediately and determined the most efficient way to dry the ceiling and walls with a minimum of drywall removal. The dehumidifiers and fans he installed dried the apartment in three and half days. He tested all the surfaces to make sure they were completely dry. Bill was also very good with my tenant making a difficult situation a little easier.

I had THE WORST experience with Bill and his company. I had a flood in my shop due to a water/dryer laundry center. I called North County Flood for their help. I scheduled an appointment with Bill and my insurance adjuster so they can talk about the process and pricing. Of course, Bill cancelled 10 mins before the appointment. Bill had to cut a part of the walls off, so the owner wanted only 2 days of drying, plus she had her own fans. But he REFUSED and argued with her because of course it's more money for him. So after 4 days of drying, he emails me a bill of $18,018!!!! Yes, like seriously?!? That's a lot of money for plugging dirty fans into the wall.
My insurance refused to pay that much so Bill went down to $14,000. Throughout the process, Bill kept harassing me through text, telling me to push the adjuster and his corny saying ""squeaky wheels get the grease."" I mean if he's experienced with insurance claims, he should know that it's process and it takes awhile. They have to calculate everything. At the end, the adjusted calculated that his work should have been only $10,000. But noooo, that's not good enough for Bill. He wants me to paying the remaining balance, even though he NEVER gave me an estimate!!!

Do not use this company! You'll regret it. They jack up the prices when they know insurance is covering it. He definitely took advance of the situation I was in. I mean look at their profile, there are two other reviews and one is from ""Bill E"" like Bill Erwin... the owner of the company?!? Hmmm kinda sad that he has to post a review and pretend to be ""Tom""
